L'invention concerne un procédé de contrôle d’un ensemble électrique relié électriquement à une batterie électrique de véhicule automobile, le procédé comportant les étapes suivantes :- une étape (100) d’estimation d’au moins un paramètre caractéristique (11, 12) de la batterie électrique à l’aide d’un calculateur surveillant l’activité de la batterie électrique,- une étape (200) de détermination d’au moins une limite de tension de polarisation (130, 131) de la batterie électrique au-delà de laquelle la batterie électrique pourrait être endommagée,- une étape (400) de définition d’une consigne de tension de polarisation (17) de la batterie électrique en fonction de l’au moins limite de tension de polarisation (130, 131) déterminée précédemment et permettant de limiter une sollicitation électrique de la batterie électrique.
