Description
DOMAINE DE L’INVENTIONFIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a material for the production of objects by shaping such as molding, injection, extrusion, printing, compression, blowing this material resulting from grape residues.
The invention also relates to the product made with such a material.
The invention uses as raw material, grape residues such as grape stalks, grape marc and grape marc and vine residues such as vine shoots and vines for example.
ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUESTATE OF THE ART
Usuellement, ces rafles de raisins sont soit :The stalk of grapes is a co-product/by-product (waste) from the wine industry and obtained after destemming the grapes. Usually, these grape stalks are either:
- brûlées,- burned,
- compostées,- composted,
- réintégrées dans le sol ou bien,- reintegrated into the ground or,
- distillées pour obtenir de l’alcool- distilled to obtain alcohol
La rafle de raisins est composée de cellulose (30,3%), d’hémicelluloses (21,0%), de lignine (17,4%), de tannins (15,9%) et de protéines (6,1%)1.The grape stalk is composed of cellulose (30.3%), hemicelluloses (21.0%), lignin (17.4%), tannins (15.9%) and proteins (6.1%). )1.
The grape marc comes from the pressing of the grapes, or the crushing of the grapes as well as the vatting. It is currently mainly valued in distilleries for the production of alcohol.
The residues of grape marc obtained after its distillation are composed of seeds, skins, pulp and stalks.
Grape seeds allow by pressing to make oil valued in the food and cosmetics industry. Other more anecdotal uses of grape seeds are its transformation into fuel thanks to its high calorific value. Grape skins and pulp are now mainly valued as animal feed (rabbits, sheep, etc.) or as fertilizer.
BUT DE L’INVENTIONPURPOSE OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention is to use grape stalks, marc and marc residues and, in general, grape and vine residues to manufacture products.
EXPOSE ET AVANTAGES DE L’INVENTIONDESCRIPTION AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
To this end, the subject of the invention is a process for the manufacture of a material for the production of objects by shaping, process consisting in: collecting residues of grapes or vines, drying the residues to obtain residues dried, grind the dried residues by fine grinding and obtain a powder, sieve the powder obtained by grinding to separate: the microfibers, and the flour, mix the microfibers and the flour according to a given weight ratio between 2 and 50% and preferably between 2 and 40% and even more preferably between 5 and 30% of fibres, adding a resin to the mixture, putting the mixture in the form of granules or filaments constituting the material intended for the production of the product, in particular for the injection, extrusion, blow molding or 3D printing.
According to another characteristic, to obtain grape residues, exhausted grape marc is collected, moist from distillation, this grape marc is sorted to separate an exhausted, seeded and depulped marc and a mixture of seeds, skin pulp and the mixture of pips, pulp and skins is dried and sorted to separate the pulp, the skins and the dried pips, one obtains grape residues comprising on the one hand the grape marc and on the other hand, the pulp , dried skins and pips.
The products obtained, i.e. the grape marc, the skins, the pulps and the pips are used separately or in certain weight combinations in the manufacturing process of the material as indicated above.
According to another characteristic, the resins are polyester resins such as polylactic acids, polyhydroxyalkanoates, poly-β-hydroxybutyrates, polybutylenes succinate, poly(ethylene or butylene) terephthalates, for example, prolypropylene resins or polystyrene resins, polyethylene resins mixed in weight proportions of fibers ranging from 2 to 50% to form the granules or the filaments.
La matière première est utilisée selon l’invention pour réaliser des objets, notamment des bouchons et/ou des têtes de bouchon par injection, extrusion, compression, soufflage ou impression 3D.The raw material is used according to the invention to produce objects, in particular stoppers and/or stopper heads by injection, extrusion, compression, blow molding or 3D printing.
The present invention will be described below in more detail with the aid of diagrams of the process for manufacturing the material from grape and vine residues represented in the appended drawings in which:
DESCRIPTION DE MODES DE REALISATION DE L’INVENTIONDESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION
According to the method, grape residues are collected, which are grape stalks, grape marc, seeds or grape skins and pulp. We also collect residues of the RV vine which can be vine shoots or vines. These different residues are treated separately. And within each category, the nature and characteristics of the products can vary greatly.
The dried RRS or RVS residues are then ground, then sieved with sieves of different grain sizes to recover different fractions ranging from 50 μm to a few millimeters.
Les microfibres séparées se caractérisent par des longueurs de fibres allant de 250 µm à 1-2 mm.Since the characteristics of the microfibers and the flour are different, provision is made, according to the invention, to sort the ground residues RB in a sorting phase 4 to separate the microfibers MF and the flour FF. Separated microfibers are characterized by fiber lengths ranging from 250 µm to 1-2 mm.
La farine FF se caractérise par une granulométrie inférieure à 250 µm.FF flour is characterized by a particle size of less than 250 µm.
The separated MF microfibers and flour FF are stored intermediately 4a, 4b to then be used according to precise proportions, which vary according to the nature of the raw material to be obtained.
This separation by sieving 4 is also necessary because the composition of the residues is variable and the residues from the same collection, therefore from the same origin, can have an inhomogeneous composition which, by grinding (3) gives a composition of MF microfibers and FF flour which may vary.
The separation of the two components by sieving 4 makes it possible to constitute a reserve 4a of microfibers MF and a reserve 4b of flour FF.
The next step is the mixing phase 6 according to weight proportions of microfibers and FF flour according to the raw material to be obtained.
La composition de la matière issue de résidus de raisins pour la fabrication d’objets comprend selon l’invention :The composition of the material from grape residues for the manufacture of objects comprises according to the invention:
A proportion of dye between 0 and 10%, preferably between 0 and 5% and even more preferably between 0 and 3%,
- une proportion d’adjuvant (pouvant être un démoulant, ou un plastifiant) comprise entre 0 et 30%, de préférence entre 0 et 20% et de manière encore plus préférentielle entre 0 et 10%- a proportion of adjuvant (which may be a mold release or a plasticizer) of between 0 and 30%, preferably between 0 and 20% and even more preferably between 0 and 10%
The added RES resin is in particular a bonded or sourced resin such as polyester resins such as polylactic acids, polyethylene terephthalate, butylene for example, polypropylene resins or polystyrene resins, polyethylene resins or even a resin combination of these two or three components.
The resin is added in weight proportions ranging from 50 to 98% if the proportion of fibers in the mixture is between 2 and 50%.
The mixture obtained MG or MF, depending on the destination, feeds a granule shaping phase 6A or a filament shaping phase 6b.
FI filaments are intended for 3D printing to obtain other types of objects 10 because granules are preferentially used for injection whereas filaments are more suitable for 3D printing.

The residue from this distillation is spent pomace, moist MEH
This marc MEH is sorted (21) to separate, on the one hand, the pips PE and the skins PX and the pulps PU, and to obtain, on the other hand, the exhausted, seeded and depulped marc MEED as residue RR.
The PE seeds, the PX skins and the PU pulps are dried 22 then sorted 23 to separate, on the one hand, the PUS pulps and PX skins and, on the other hand, the PES seeds.
In more detail, the objects obtained from the raw material constituted by the granules GR or the filaments FI, by injection or by 3D printing are, for example, stoppers, stopper heads or capsules.
By injection 7 it is possible to manufacture a cylindrical stopper proceeding by continuous extrusion and cutting to the desired length.
Cork heads for spirits can also be made. To this head are fixed traditional cork stoppers, for example, by gluing.
It is also possible and instead of cork stoppers, to fix stoppers made from renewable raw materials such as polymers that can be derived from sugar cane.
It is also possible to manufacture with this raw material corks for spirits comprising both the cork head and the cork body manufactured by injection. In this case, there is no sticking of the head to the cap body.
By injection, it is also possible to manufacture screw caps for canteens surmounted, for example, by a ring for a better grip or even comprising a neck to promote the intake of liquid.
These objects have the particularity of being able to be biosourced. By blow molding, containers can also be made to package drinks, cosmetics, perfumes, etc.
Depending on the polymer / resin combination used, the objects may be compostable in an industrial composter or biodegradable under specific conditions and depending on the particle size, the compounds will degrade more or less slowly.
