L’invention porte sur un dispositif d’assistance (1) au démontage d’une suspension de véhicule automobile, comprenant : -un piètement (2) ; -une fourche (3) ; -une poutre (4) reliant le piètement (2) et la fourche (3), un espace (5) étant ménagé entre le piètement et la fourche ; -un actionneur (6) : solidaire de la fourche (3) et configuré pour appliquer sélectivement une pression sur un objet présent dans l’espace (5) entre le piètement (2) et la fourche (3) ; ou solidaire du piètement (2) et configuré pour appliquer sélectivement une traction sur un objet présent dans l’espace (5) entre le piètement (2) et la fourche (3).
