Un siège (SI), éventuellement de véhicule, comprend une assise (AS) et/ou un dossier comportant une partie interne (PI), ayant une première partie (P1) prolongée au niveau d’au moins une gorge d’interface (GI) par au moins une seconde partie (P2) plus épaisse qu’elle (P1), et une housse (HS), entourant cette partie interne (PI) et couplée à une pièce de retenue (PR) installée dans cette gorge d’interface (GI). La housse (HS) est solidarisée fixement à un premier empiècement (E1) au moins en deux premières zones (Z11-Z12) qui sont situées de part et d’autre de la gorge d’interface (GI), et un second empiècement (E2) est solidarisé fixement au premier empiècement (E1) et à la pièce de retenue (PR).
