L’invention concerne une borne anti-déflagration (1) d’une terminaison d’un câble (9) de transport électrique à haute tension, la borne définissant une enceinte étanche (8) autour de la terminaison, et étant pourvue d’au moins un dispositif de décharge de pression interne (28) en cas de survenue d’une surtension dans la terminaison. La borne comporte un moyen de débattement (54, 64, 65) du câble relativement à l’enceinte permettant d’augmenter la capacité de dégazage d’une surpression dans l’enceinte.
