Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d’absorption d’énergie de collision pour colonne de direction (2) à réglage de préférence motorisé au moins en profondeur par coulissement d’un tube intérieur (8) dans un tube extérieur (11) selon un axe de réglage(X). Le système d’absorption d’énergie de collision comprend un dispositif de blocage (15) du tube intérieur (8) dans le tube extérieur (11) comprenant un actionneur (16) entraînant un mécanisme de serrage (14) apte à exercer au moins une force de pression (F) sur le tube intérieur (8) ce qui induit une force axiale de friction résistant au coulissement dudit tube intérieur (8) dans le tube extérieur (11). Le système d’absorption d’énergie de collision comprend en outre une unité de contrôle (UC) apte à piloter ledit actionneur (16) pour moduler l’au moins une force de pression (P) dans un mode de roulage d’un véhicule (1) en fonction de paramètres représentatifs d’une morphologie et d’une position d’un conducteur. Pour piloter ledit actionneur (16), l’unité de contrôle (UC) utilise aussi des paramètres représentatifs des conditions dynamiques du véhicule (1) en mode de roulage avant une collision. The collision energy absorption system comprises a device (15) for locking the inner tube (8) in the outer tube (11) comprising an actuator (16) driving a clamping mechanism (14) able to exert at least a pressure force (F) on the inner tube (8) which induces an axial frictional force resisting the sliding of said inner tube (8) in the outer tube (11). The collision energy absorption system further comprises a control unit (UC) capable of controlling said actuator (16) to modulate the at least one pressure force (P) in a running mode of a vehicle (1) as a function of parameters representative of a morphology and of a position of a driver. To control said actuator (16), the control unit (UC) also uses parameters representative of the dynamic conditions of the vehicle (1) in driving mode before a collision. (Fig.2)
