Appareil de défroissage comportant un corps comprenant une poignée (2) et une tête (3) d’émission de vapeur reliée à la poignée (2), la tête (3) d’émission de vapeur comportant une face de traitement destinée à venir verticalement en regard d’un vêtement à défroisser, la face de traitement comprenant au moins un orifice de sortie de vapeur (33) et une surface chaude (31) destinée à venir au contact du vêtement, caractérisé en ce que la face de traitement comporte une surface de traitement (76) en textile s’étendant sur tout le pourtour de la surface chaude (31).
