L'invention concerne un ensemble (22) propulsif à hélice pour un aéronef (20) comportant une nacelle (24), une hélice (26) monté à rotation autour d'un axe (Z) de rotation dans la nacelle (24), et un dispositif (34) de blocage de la rotation de l'hélice (26) comportant : - au moins un élément (36) de verrouillage stationnaire ; - au moins un bras (44) de verrouillage rotatif monté pivotant entre une position de verrouillage et une position de libération dans laquelle le bras (44) ; caractérisé en ce que l'élément (36) de verrouillage stationnaire comporte un cran (38) formé dans le bord (40) périphérique circulaire d'un plateau (42) fixe coaxial à l'axe (Z) de rotation, le bras (44) de verrouillage comportant un tronçon (48) extrémité libre équipée d'un ergot (50) destiné à être reçu dans le cran (38) lorsqu'il occupe sa position de verrouillage et que l'hélice (26) occupe sa position angulaire indexée.
