Description
The objective: Collect the mechanical energy developed by several cyclists in action and convert it into electrical energy, while ensuring the stability of the cycles accommodated on the frame during the effort.
This collected mechanical energy is then transferred to the alternators which transform this received mechanical energy into electrical energy.
The electrical energy produced can be consumed instantly, stored or sold to an electricity company.
There are a few devices to generate electricity by pedaling, however the lack of coupling of the forces produced by several users at the same time does not allow the delivery of significant electrical energy over the medium or long term.
This device according to the invention comprises, according to a first characteristic, a multi-cycle door frame adjustable to all types of velocipedes, as well as to all types of alternators thanks to sets of belts/pulleys/tensioners.
Selon les modes caractéristiques de réalisation :According to the characteristic embodiments:
A first part of the frame according to the invention makes it possible to block a possible front wheel of the cycle using removable transverse (2) and longitudinal (3) fasteners
This first part of the chassis, although optional, contributes to ensuring the stability of the cycle during the effort.
The design of these first two parts of the multi-cycle door frame is designed to accommodate an unlimited number of cycles.
A third part of the multi-cycle door frame according to the invention will make it possible to accommodate an unlimited number of dynamos or alternators of all kinds. Indeed, the pre-existing pulleys (11) on the alternators or dynamos are integral with the collective bar (1) of mechanical energy produced by the users in motion by means of pulleys (7), adapted belts (8) and rollers turnbuckles (9). This allows the chassis to accommodate dynamos / alternators of all kinds, in unlimited quantities. These alternators naturally have the function of converting the mechanical energy received into electrical energy. This electrical energy produced can then either be used to recharge the batteries present which allow the excitation of the alternators, or to be reinjected into a domestic power supply, or into the public network.
It should be noted that the excitation current essential to the operation of the alternators can also be provided by a controlled stabilized power supply.
- SPZ type trapezoidal pulleys (7), and their associated hubs. These are connected to the alternators with pulleys of the same type. Thus, the collective rotary bar (1) of mechanical energy is connected to the alternators having an SPZ type pulley by means of adapted belts (8) and tension rollers (9)
- Poly V type pulleys (5) and their associated hubs. These are connected to the driving wheels by means of suitable poly V type belts (4) tension rollers (6)
In addition, some alternators are fitted with poly V type pulleys, which can however be adapted to the rotating bar via pulleys/belts/tensioners of the same type.
Obviously, the nature of the pulleys and belts mentioned can be varied and diversified in the design of this device.
The mechanical energy generated by the driving wheels driven by the participants is therefore transferred to the collective bar of mechanical energy by means of pulleys/belts/tensioners.
Furthermore, this multi-cycle door frame is characterized in that the number of participants is independent of the number of fixed and connected cycles. Indeed, during its operation two cases are possible for a cycle fixed and connected, but not occupied:
-Either the driving wheels of cycles are separated from the device; in this case the wheels of the cycles remain stationary.
-Either the driving wheels (10) of cycles remain secured to the device: in this case the driving wheels (10) of the cycles are driven by the collective rotary bar (1) of mechanical energy.
Since the crankset of each cycle remains fixed if no effort / action is performed on it, this allows a new user to start his activity at any time, whether the device either static or dynamic. This device thus allows the participant to start at his own pace and to catch up with the regime already engaged by the other participants, by means of the gear reduction controls of a traditional cycle and then to make his physical and energetic contribution to it.
The role of the collective rotary bar (1) is to transmit the total energy generated by coupling the forces produced by all the users to the alternators then connected during the application.
La barre rotative collective (1) d’énergie est dense, elle permet ainsi d’acquérir une certaine inertie durant son entraînement et permet ainsi un retour amorti et non brutal vers l’immobilisation de l’ensemble du dispositifThe collective rotary bar (1) of energy is dense, it thus makes it possible to acquire a certain inertia during its training and thus allows a damped and non-brutal return towards the immobilization of the whole device
The entire device according to the invention is infinitely expandable.
This device according to the invention is connected to:
-A control system: it is possible for example to activate a defined number of alternators of the frame according to the desired resistance on the driving wheels (10), and consequently on the pedals. It suffices for this to be able to select the number of alternators supplied by an excitation current, via an electric source (of the battery type or stabilized electric power supply), making it possible to generate the magnetic field necessary for the operation of the latter.
The number of alternators which receives an excitation current depends on the resistance to the desired effort.
In fact, the greater the number of alternators connected, the greater the resistance generated on the crankset and, consequently, the energy produced as well.
-A data processing system can also be associated with it, via a series of sensors (electrical, thermal, speed measurements, etc.).
This device according to the invention can obviously be extended to indoor and outdoor bicycles and can be set up anywhere, in public parks frequented by athletes, or even in schools.
In addition, this device can be the subject of a preponderant educational support for schools, around which all the disciplines can be articulated in order to promote transversality and allow each student to be an actor in their learning.
Indeed, it can serve as a support for experimental activities in science disciplines, but also for other disciplines such as:
- -The story ; the history of science, the impact of the evolution of science on society...
- -Geography: demography and environmental issues….
- -Physical education and sport…
