Description
ETAT DE L’ARTSTATE OF THE ART
A laryngoscope or video-laryngoscope is an instrument used as part of the intubation procedure during general anesthesia and aimed at facilitating the placement of the intubation tube through which the patient is ventilated. The laryngoscope or video-laryngoscope generally comprises two mechanically assembled parts: a handle and a reusable or single-use invasive blade. The probe is guided during its introduction by a wedge shape of the part of the blade free of contact on the palate side or else by a channel open laterally. Recently, a blade with an open channel on the tongue side has also appeared to guide the intubation tube. The use of the laryngoscope or video-laryngoscope requires so-called crutch and traction movements in order to clear the intubation route causing frequent damage, in particular to the dentition but also to the other tissues of the oral cavity.
Les brevets 2505125 A1 (AIRCRAFT MEDICAL) du 29 avril 2004, US 2002/0087050 (RUDISCHHAUSER) du 4 juillet 2002, EP3075302 (Jacques VINCENT) du 02 avril 2015 font état de tels dispositifs.Patents 2505125 A1 (AIRCRAFT MEDICAL) of April 29, 2004, US 2002/0087050 (RUDISCHHAUSER) of July 4, 2002, EP3075302 (Jacques VINCENT) of April 2, 2015 mention such devices.
The detailed description is exemplary in nature and is not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention. Laryngoscope blades using the present invention have significantly improved operation. The laryngoscope blades using the present invention make it possible in particular to greatly reduce the force exerted on the patient's tissues and to better orient the endotracheal tube during intubation. The need for the so-called crutch gesture is eliminated or greatly diminished. The pulling gesture is facilitated. Initial placement of the probe directly in front of the airway is significantly improved. Two cases with different impact on the gesture and adaptation to different cavity configurations are claimed.
L’invention est caractérisée en ce que :The invention is characterized in that:
Unless specifically mentioned below, the endotracheal tube guide channel applies to slides with an open endotracheal tube guide channel on the tongue side as well as for an open channel on the palate side or an open lateral channel.
For the sake of clarity, by laryngoscope, we mean any type of laryngoscope including the video-laryngoscope which is a particular laryngoscope and which therefore falls within the scope of the invention.
Laryngoscope blade means invasive part intended to penetrate the oral cavity.
For brevity, a blade incorporating more than 90 degrees of rotation and a blade incorporating more than 110 degrees of rotation are shown as a method of carrying out the invention.

Case 1: Channel open on the tongue side, to precisely design the laryngoscope blade whose guiding channel of the probe of the endotracheal tube open on the tongue side forms a curve exceeding 90 degrees or 110 degrees of rotation: The blades have at least two tangents in any two points of their profile view on the tongue side which form an angle greater than 90 degrees or 110 degrees in absolute value.

In order to facilitate the insertion of such blades the method of inserting the blade into the oral cavity is changed compared to other types of blade. During the introduction of the blade, the gesture of introduction of the probe leaves with an offset of more than 45 degrees in relation to the axis of the patient's body then once the tongue has passed a rotation bringing the blade back into the body axis is operated.
