Procédé de gestion de l’accélération d’un véhicule (10) équipé d’un régulateur de vitesse (3) et d’une pédale d’accélérateur (4), caractérisé en ce qu’il comprend :- une première étape (E1) de comparaison d’une accélération (AREG) commandée par le régulateur de vitesse à un premier seuil d’accélération (AREL),- une deuxième étape (E2) de traitement d’un appui sur la pédale d’accélérateur, et- en fonction des résultats des première et deuxième étapes, une troisième étape (E3) de limitation de l’accélération du véhicule (10).
