Abstract

Dispositif amovible de protection d’un raccord (R) entre deux éléments de tuyaux (T1, T2) apte à brider axialement les éléments de tuyaux de part et d’autre d’une saillie radiale (2, 4, 6) formée par ledit raccord selon un axe de raccordement (X), ledit dispositif comprenant un corps délimitant un passage de diamètre prédéterminée, formant un siège de réception de la saillie radiale dudit raccord de sorte à former butée axiale par épaulement, selon l’axe de raccordement. Selon l’invention, le corps présente une surface extérieure à conformation sensiblement ellipsoïdale dont l’axe de révolution est sensiblement confondu avec ledit axe de raccordement.
