L’invention concerne un dispositif de protection intelligent, ledit dispositif comportant un masque de protection (1) portable par un individu pour se protéger d'agents infectieux ou pathogènes, ledit masque de protection (10) étant alimenté par une batterie (BATT) électrique et comprenant une chambre de traitement (CH_T) de l'air aspiré par l'individu, qui comporte des moyens de traitement (M_T) de l'air aspiré, lesdits moyens de traitement (M_T) étant configurés pour pouvoir délivrer différents niveaux de puissance (P_L) de traitement, ledit dispositif comportant des moyens de contrôle (MC) configurés pour commander lesdits moyens de traitement en vue d'ajuster le niveau de puissance (P_L) de traitement délivré par lesdits moyens de traitement (M_T).
