Système de ventilation (10) pour moteur, notamment pour moteur de véhicule automobile, comprenant un ventilateur comportant une hélice (14) munie d’un moyeu (20), d’une virole (18) et d’une pluralité de pales principales (22), la pluralité de pales principales (22) étant réparties angulairement autour de la virole (18) et s’étendant entre le moyeu (20) et la virole (18), chaque pale principale (22) étant séparée de la pale principale (22) suivante par un espace intermédiaire (23),dans lequel au moins une pale secondaire (40, 40’) est disposée dans au moins l’un des espaces intermédiaires (23), la au moins une pale secondaire (40, 40’) comprenant une première extrémité (47) fixée à la virole (18) et une deuxième extrémité (49) libre, la au moins une pale secondaire (40, 40’) ayant un profil aérodynamique.
