Description
The present invention relates to an autonomous geolocation and deterrent alarm device concealed in a protective shell of mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, cameras, microcomputers.
Most geolocation and alarm devices for mobile devices work with "Bluetooth" in the form of a gadget, and only if the mobile concerned is within range, working and mostly with a dedicated mobile application which must also be activated. In the event of loss or theft, they can be dissociated, be turned off by malicious human intervention, and therefore not geolocatable from another device. They therefore cannot fully fulfill the functionality of geolocation of a lost or stolen mobile device.
Most "GSM" geolocation and alarm devices that work with a cellular network are bulky and very expensive to be concealed in some protective shell. The accuracy of geolocation by cellular triangulation of the GSM network can be problematic if the signal is disturbed by tall buildings. They can be associated with the mobile via a small hooked wire; but the latter can be uncomfortable, and dissociable in the event of loss or theft. They cannot therefore fully fulfill the functionality of geolocation of a lost or stolen mobile device.
The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks, a second reliable chance to find his mobile device. The geolocation and alarm "connected shell" device operates on the GSM cellular network with a triple geolocation system. The latter is miniaturized and hidden in a protective shell for mobile devices. This protective shell is lockable so as not to be separated from the mobile in the event of loss or theft. In addition to protecting the mobile, this protective shell adapted for each model of mobile device is autonomous, so it has its own miniature battery and does not need the mobile concerned to be in operation to fulfill its anti-theft functions.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the main function such as geolocation and the deterrent alarm can be controlled from any mobile device or computerized device operating with the cellular network.
According to the description 0004, in the event of loss or theft, it is possible from any other GSM mobile device (which includes the functionality of transmitting and sending SMS), to send a specific "SMS" to the telephone number. device phone that will act accordingly. Let us take as an example a critical situation vis-à-vis its main functionality: A malicious person steals a smartphone equipped with this device (of which we know the telephone number); this smartphone was turned off by this person, therefore impossible to locate with basic tools; now from another mobile device such as a smartphone from a passerby of a friend or the police, we send on the number of the device, an SMS with the word "gps", the device will receive this message with this word and respond immediately by SMS to its current geographic coordinates such as latitude, longitude compatible with mobile mapping applications for smartphones, or an internet link giving the possibility of live tracing; this feature allows us to get physically closer to the stolen device as close as possible to find it. Then secondly, if the latter has still not been seen, but geolocated a few meters from our position, it is possible to send another specific "beep" SMS in order to emit a very powerful sound signal. This sound will provoke several human reactions, passers-by who hear this sound signal will have the reflex to look where the sound is coming from, which can give us a clue who is carrying the phone; then either the thief runs off, the stolen phone is dropped or thrown away, or the thief is arrested by law enforcement if there is cooperation. Also find the phone if it is hidden. Which concludes that, thanks to this invention, it is possible to increase the probability of finding one's stolen mobile and putting the thief (s) on the facts before the police. SMS words such as "beep" and "gps" are purely examples.
According to a variant not shown, all the modules and electrical circuits such as the miniature GSM communicating module (2) with its SIM card holder, the miniature GPS module (3), the miniature Bluetooth module (4), the miniature controller (1), the miniature buzzer (7), and then the miniature power supply and wired charging and induction battery charging module (8.bis) can be "assembled" into 1 single module for the purpose of advanced scalability and miniaturization.
According to a variant not shown, this device can be adapted in motorized vehicles, and motorized vehicles, computers, tools (expensive), luggage, wallet, handbag.
