L’invention concerne un capteur (1) capacitif pour véhicule automobile, ledit capteur (1) comprenant une capacité de stockage (Cext) comportant une première branche (B1) et une deuxième branche (B2), une capacité de détection (Ce) comportant une première branche (D1), reliée à la deuxième branche (B2) de la capacité de stockage (Cext) au niveau d’un point milieu (A), et une deuxième branche (D2), destinée à être reliée à une masse (M), un premier interrupteur (S1), un deuxième interrupteur (S2), un troisième interrupteur (S3), ledit capteur (1) capacitif comprenant une résistance de polarisation (Rpolar) connectée d’une part entre le point milieu (A) de la capacité de stockage (Cext) et de la capacité de détection (Ce) et d’autre part à la deuxième branche (S12) du premier interrupteur (S1).
