Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à une table extensible (100) comprenant un châssis fixe (ChF) supportant un plateau (Pp) de table, un châssis coulissant (ChC) monté à coulissement sur ledit châssis fixe et des piètements destinés à prendre appui sur le sol. Selon l'invention, le châssis fixe (ChF) est équipé d'un premier piètement (P1) disposé à proximité de l'une de ses extrémités, et le châssis coulissant (ChC) est équipé d'un second piètement (P2) et d'un troisième piètement (P3) disposés respectivement à proximité de ses deux extrémités, le second piètement (P2) étant considéré comme étant celui le plus proche du premier piètement (P1), le second piètement (P2) étant pourvu d'au moins une roulette de roulage sur le sol. La rigidité de la table extensible de l'invention est augmentée par le second piètement d'appui au sol qui est disposé idéalement au centre de la table dans sa configuration étendue. Le châssis coulissant de la table peut être tiré et repoussé facilement dans la mesure où il repose sur ces deux piètements dont le second piètement roulant supporte pratiquement la moitié de la masse du châssis fixe et du plateau de table.
