Abstract

JAR FOR COSMETICS OR OTHER LIQUID OR PASTE PRODUCTS

The invention, as indicated in the statement of this specification, is based on a jar for cosmetics or other liquid or pasty products which provides, for the function for which it is intended, advantages and characteristics, which are described in detail below, which imply an improvement of the current state of the art.

The object of the present invention consists of a jar for cosmetics or other liquid or pasty products, in particular a jar consisting of an external container, of the type which has an internal flexible container and an extraction system without an air intake. , comprising a set of improvements which involve advantages which improve both the preservation of the product, and its manufacture and use.

The field of application of the present invention falls within the sector of industry dedicated to the manufacture of containers, particularly focusing on the field of containers with a configuration in the form of a wide-mouth pot with a system of extraction without air intake.

As is known, there are containers on the market for said type of products which consist of a rigid bottle with an internal flexible pouch, which, however, generally have an elongated configuration, due to their height being greater than their diameter, whereby the collapse of the inner pocket, to extract the product, occurs laterally, so they are not useful for larger and smaller containers.

Other containers with said inner flexible pocket are described in patents EP 0546898 GB 2184491 and WO 2006/107403 but they are aerosols or jars, in which the neck of the pocket and of the container is much smaller than their width.

In addition, there are flasks with a piston system for extracting the product, but they generally have a structure which is not compatible with that of a jar that is wider than it is tall.

There is, however, a pot disclosed in patent FR1252358 which refers to a container with a large opening, associated with an extraction and distribution system without an air intake which combines the two techniques, that is to say that of the flexible pouch and that of the plunger, which, although it achieves said objective successfully, has certain aspects which can be improved.

Concretely, a first aspect which can be improved is the problem posed by the contact of the product with the air, because this can lead to a premature deterioration of this one, which can be a serious drawback, given that this type of containers is generally used in cosmetics and similar products which have a high economic cost and which are expected to have an effective result.

A second aspect that can be improved is the complexity of the structure of the pot, since, in addition to the flexible bag directly associated with the valve of the extraction system formed of a softer lower part and another semi upper part. -rigid, it provides for an intermediate rigid tank, and in particular because the cover in which said extraction system is integrated is built from the connection of up to three different parts, all this, therefore, increases the cost of manufacture of the container, by having to add the manufacture of each of said parts and their parts to the assembly thereof before adding them to the rest of the parts of the container.

And, finally, a third aspect which can be improved is that of the own air-intake free extraction system whereby the product emerges when pressured, since, the product exits through a groove in a haphazard manner. which does not allow adequate control over its removal for use.

The objective of the present invention is, therefore, the development of an improved pot of the aforementioned type to provide them with the technical and structural means necessary to overcome these drawbacks.

On the other hand and with reference to the current state of the art, it should be noted that, despite the fact that there are, as has been described, other pots of the type than this one, at Unless by the claimant, the existence of a pot which has the same or similar technical and structural characteristics as those presented herein by the claimed one is unknown.

The subject of the invention is a jar for cosmetics or other liquid or pasty products which comprises an external container, an internal flexible container which contains the cosmetic or the product, and an extraction system without air intake characterized in that the extraction system comprises a lower membrane, an upper membrane, an intermediate space between the membranes, a lower valve located in the lower membrane which connects the interior space of the flexible container to the intermediate space and an upper valve located in the upper membrane which connects the intermediate space to the outside of the pot in such a way that in rest position, the product contained in the intermediate space does not come into contact with the product contained inside the flexible container.

The pot according to the invention can also have the following features:

- the flexible container comprises a rim which is coupled vertically in a groove provided for this purpose in the inner wall of the outer container;

- the outer container has a neck and the upper membrane fits into the upper edge of the neck of the end container and presses the lower membrane which rests on the flexible container;

- the rim of the flexible container has a base on which the lower membrane rests and the upper membrane has a double skirt which generates a groove which fits into the upper edge of the neck of the end container while putting pressure on the perimeter of the first membrane;

- the upper membrane comprises a flexible protuberance which is part of the extraction system, such that when the user presses on said protuberance the intermediate space is compressed causing the lifting of the upper valve and consequently and by the difference of pressure between the outside and the inside of the flexible container the valve rises allowing the product to flow from the flexible container to the outside;

- it includes a plug between the upper valve and the outside with a single product outlet port.

The jar of cosmetics or other liquid or pasty products proposed by the invention is configured as the ideal solution for the aforementioned purpose, the characteristic details making it possible and distinguishing it being suitably set out in the final claims which accompany this description.

Concretely, what the invention proposes, as noted above, is a pot of the type consisting of an external container which has an internal flexible container in which the product is contained and an extraction system. without air intake, including several improvements which improve the preservation of the product and its use.

More specifically, said internal flexible container, in a known manner, has a base, which, when pressure is exerted on the extraction system located in the upper closure member thereof, which is airtight and incorporates an extraction valve rises under the vacuum effect caused by said valve by pushing the product towards it thanks to the folding back on itself which occurs in the flexible material of the zone surrounding said base and the side wall of said container.

From this already known configuration, therefore, the pot of the invention is fundamentally distinguished by the following:

In a first aspect because it comprises, in the extraction system without aforementioned air intake, two valves arranged so as to prevent all the product contained in the pot from being contaminated when it comes into contact with the air. Precisely thanks to the fact that one is directly associated with the interior space of the inner flexible container, being incorporated in a first membrane which hermetically closes the upper part of said flexible container; and another which is associated with an outlet plug located in a second membrane which acts as an upper closure with the neck of the pot, so as to create an intermediate space between the two membranes and, therefore, between the two valves where s' accumulates a certain amount of product before its release and that only this small amount of product is the one that comes into contact with air, while the rest of the product contained in the container always remains airtight.

The pot is further distinguished by the fact that the upper edge of the inner flexible container has a rim which is coupled directly into a groove provided for this purpose inside the pot, the aforementioned first closing membrane of its upper part being located thereon, being connected to the edge thereof by the own pressure exerted by the incorporation of the second upper closure membrane, which further has a skirt which is inserted, by groove assembly and tab, in the upper edge of the neck of the jar.

Thus, the pot closure system comprises only two parts in the upper zone, the two membranes described, and the rim of the inner flexible container, without any additional part being necessary to fix said flexible container and prevent it from falling. to contract towards the inside of the pot under the effect of the vacuum of the extraction system, the manufacture of the container therefore being simplified because it has a smaller number of parts. In addition, preferably, the aforementioned inner container is homogeneously flexible, namely, over its entire side surface, optionally with the exception of the lower base, since it does not require an upper semi-rigid section which prevents it from collapsing inwards thanks to its fixing by means of the aforementioned rim.

Finally, the pot of the invention stands out because it further comprises a stopper for the outlet of the product which allows an outlet of it in an orderly and controlled manner as it emerges outside through a single orifice, instead of passing through a groove as in the prior art, which facilitates the use of the product by the user.

To complete the description which is being made and for the purpose of facilitating a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, a set of plans is accompanied with this specification as an integral part thereof, in which to illustrative and non-limiting character, the following has been shown:

In view of the figures mentioned, an exemplary non-limiting embodiment of the jar for cosmetics or other liquid or pasty products of the invention can be observed, which comprises what is described in detail below, according to the numbering adopted, according to the list next :

Thus, as observed in said figures, the pot (1) of the invention comprises, in a known manner, an external container (2), which has an internal flexible container (4), in which the product is contained, which optionally has a rigid base (5), which, when pressure is exerted on an extraction system (6) without an air intake with an extraction valve (8) provided in a closure hermetic upper (7) of said flexible container (4), rises, pushing the product towards said valve (8), causing the flexible material of the area surrounding said rigid base (5) and the side wall to fold back on itself flexible container (4).

From the magnified detail of Figure 5, it can be seen how, furthermore, the upper edge of the inner flexible container (4) has a flange (14) which is directly coupled into a groove (15) provided for this purpose in the inner wall of the outer container (2); that the peripheral base of the first membrane (9) of the upper closure system (7) is located on the flat base of said edge of the flexible container (4); and that the second closure membrane (11) has a double skirt (16) which generates a groove (17) which fits into the upper edge of the neck (12) of the end container (2) while pressing on the perimeter of the first membrane (9).

Also, the pot (1) also comprises a plug (18) associated with the product outlet valve (10) in which a single orifice (19) is provided which allows the outlet of said product.

Ultimately, what distinguishes the pot (1) and improves it, is the fact that the upper hermetic closure (7) and the extraction system (6) include two valves (8, 10) incorporated in two membranes (9 , 11) between which there is an intermediate space (13); that the upper edge of the inner flexible container (4) is directly coupled to the outer container (2) while the upper membrane (11) fits into the upper edge of the neck (12) of the end container (2) and makes pressure on the perimeter of the lower membrane (9); that it further comprises a plug (18) with a single outlet (19) for the product.

Preferably, the extraction valve (8), moreover, is incorporated in a cavity (20) of the first membrane (9) or lower membrane, located in its central zone which defines a depression with respect to the peripheral edge of that. -this.

Advantageously, the second membrane (11) or upper membrane has a protuberance which defines the extraction system (6), which is offset to the side, the opposite being occupied by another cavity (20) in which the second valve is incorporated. (10) outlet with the plug (18).

Finally, preferably, the groove (15) of the inner wall of the outer container (2) into which the rim (14) of the inner flexible container (4) fits, is defined in an annular part (22) backed into a recessing in the upper zone of said inner wall of the outer container (2).
