Foyer artificiel. L’invention concerne un foyer artificiel comprenant une enceinte (2) délimitée par une paroi inférieure (3), une paroi supérieure (4) et une paroi périphérique (5), cette dernière comportant une ouverture (6), un lit de braise factice (9) étant disposé intérieurement à l’enceinte (2) sur un fond (8) défini par la paroi inférieure (3), dans ladite enceinte (2) étant encore ménagés des moyens de projection (10) d’une image, notamment de flammes animées, en direction d’un écran de visualisation (11) disposée dans l’enceinte (2) dans une ligne de vision (7) s’étendant au travers de ladite ouverture (6). Selon l’invention, l’écran de visualisation (11) est défini par une plaque de verre transparente (13) polarisée s’étendant entre le lit de braise factice (9) et lesdits moyens de projection (10) en formant par rapport au rayon incident (14) émanant de ces derniers un angle compris entre 50° et 56°, lesdits moyens de projection (10) étant définis pour diffuser des images, notamment de flammes animées, au travers d’une lumière polarisée linéaire. Artificial hearth comprising an enclosure (2) delimited by a lower wall (3), an upper wall (4) and a peripheral wall (5), the latter comprising an opening (6), a bed of artificial embers (9) being arranged inside the enclosure (2) on a bottom (8) defined by the lower wall (3), in said enclosure (2) being further provided with means (10) for projecting an image, in particular animated flames, in direction of a display screen (11) disposed in the enclosure (2) in a line of vision (7) extending through said opening (6), characterized in that the display screen (11) is defined by a polarized transparent glass plate (13) extending between the dummy ember bed (9) and the said projection means (10) forming with respect to the incident ray (14) emanating from the latter an angle comprised between 50° and 56°, said projection means (10) being defined to diffuse images, in particular of animated flames, through linear polarized light.

Artificial hearth, according to claim (1), characterized in that the projection means (10) are located under the upper wall (4) of the enclosure (2).

Artificial hearth, according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the display screen (11) is arranged in the enclosure (2) between the projection means (10) and the dummy ember bed (9), substantially in the extension of the opening (6) extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the line of vision (7).

Artificial hearth, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the transparent glass plate (13) defining the display screen (11) has its front face (15), visible through the opening (6) of the enclosure (2), an antireflection treatment.

Artificial hearth, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the transparent glass plate (13) is held in the enclosure (2) by means of a support structure (16) in the form of a console (19) resting on this bottom (8) by defining a screen at the rear of the dummy ember bed (9).

Artificial hearth, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is equipped with sound diffusion and/or olfactory emission means (22).

Artificial hearth, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises lighting means (21) capable of diffusing ambient light in the enclosure (2).

Artificial hearth, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bed of embers (9) is composed of different elements imitating a combination of wood in the process of combustion, embers and ashes in materials chosen to leave partially light radiation produced by lighting means (26) located under this bed of embers (9), in the form of LEDs capable of being subjected to a variation in light intensity to simulate the animation of real incandescent embers.

Artificial hearth, according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises means for controlling and managing (27) the operation:

Projection means (10);

And/or sound diffusion and/or olfactory emission means (22);
