Chariot d’entrainement (8’, 8’’, 8’’’) d’un système de direction d’un véhicule positionné entre un tube mobile (2) d’une colonne de direction (1) et un organe d’entrainement (7), le chariot d’entrainement (8’, 8’’, 8’’’) comprenant une zone d’attache (9) destinée à coopérer avec le tube mobile (2), la zone d’attache (9) réalisant une fixation du tube mobile (2) sur le chariot d’entrainement (8’, 8’’, 8’’’) lorsqu’un effort exercé sur la zone d’attache (9) est en deçà d’un premier seuil prédéterminé et un mouvement du tube mobile (2) par rapport au chariot d’entrainement (8’, 8’’, 8’’’) lorsque l’effort exercé sur la zone d’attache (9) dépasse le premier seuil prédéterminé, caractérisé en ce que le chariot d’entrainement (8’, 8’’, 8’’’) comprend une zone d’accouplement (12’, 12’’, 12’’’) destinée à coopérer avec une pièce de cache (11’, 11’’, 11’’’), la zone d’accouplement (12’, 12’’, 12’’’) réalisant une fixation de la pièce de cache (11’, 11’’, 11’’’) sur le chariot d’entrainement (8’, 8’’, 8’’’) lorsqu’un effort exercé sur la zone d’accouplement (12’, 12’’, 12’’’) est en deçà d’un deuxième seuil prédéterminé et un mouvement de la pièce de cache (11’, 11’’, 11’’’) par rapport au chariot d’entrainement (8’, 8’’, 8’’’) lorsque l’effort exercé sur la deuxième zone d’accouplement (12’, 12’’, 12’’’) dépasse le deuxième seuil prédéterminé.
