Abstract

Figure pour l’abrégé : Fig. 1Database queries are processed in a distributed database system including a central database subsystem and a plurality of local database subsystems including a first local database subsystem. The central database subsystem receives a second database query indicating at least one unique identifier of at least one database result of a plurality of database results that have been stored with identifiers unique matches by the first local database subsystem in response to a first database query received at the first local database subsystem. Said at least one database result identified by said at least one unique identifier is retrieved from the first local database subsystem. Said at least one retrieved database result is processed and said at least one processed database result is persistently stored in a database of the central database subsystem.
