Abstract

L’invention concerne un procédé de nettoyage d’un répartiteur d’air (20), ledit répartiteur d’air (20) comprenant plusieurs sorties d’air (22) destinées à être connectées à une culasse d’un moteur à combustion interne, ledit procédé comprenant les étapes de : connecter de manière fluidique chacune des sorties d’air (22) dudit répartiteur d’air (20) à un réservoir de fluide (13) sous pression par l’intermédiaire d’une conduite (14) d’entrée de fluide ; disposer une vanne (16) à ouverture rapide dans chacune des conduites (14) d’entrée de fluide, ladite vanne (16) permettant de contrôler le débit de fluide entrant dans le répartiteur d’air (20) au niveau des sorties d’air (22) en fonction de son ouverture ; contrôler l’ouverture des vannes (16) à ouverture rapide de manière à accroître de manière très rapide ledit débit de fluide entrant dans le répartiteur d’air (20) au niveau des sorties d’air (22), et ainsi créer une onde de choc à l’intérieur du répartiteur d’air (20); évacuer le fluide ayant circulé à l’intérieur du répartiteur d’air (20) par au moins une conduite (19, 23) de sortie de fluide.
