L’invention concerne une tête d’usinage comprenant :- une prise d’accouplement, configurée pour être accouplée à une broche ou à une électro-broche, la prise d’accouplement comportant un arbre d’entrée d’axe de rotation Z, configuré pour être accouplé à un axe de sortie de la broche ou de l’électro-broche; - un corps rigide, relié à la prise d’accouplement et allongé selon un axe X orthogonal à l’axe Z ;- un mécanisme de transmission de rotation agencé dans le corps rigide et reliant l’arbre d’entrée de la prise d’accouplement d’axe Z à un arbre de sortie de la tête d’usinage d’axe Z1 parallèle à l’axe Z, l’arbre de sortie de la tête d’usinage étant configuré pour supporter à son extrémité libre un outil de coupe.
