Abstract

Le procédé est mis en œuvre dans un dispositif (2) comprenant un galet de test (22) en contact avec un échantillon planaire de test (23), avec le fluide étant présent dans la zone de contact entre le galet de test et l’échantillon planaire de test. Conformément à l’invention, au moins une propriété tribologique du fluide est mesurée en exécutant une cinématique cyclique déterminée comprenant dans chaque cycle un mouvement de translation (F) entre le galet de test et l’échantillon planaire de test, un roulement avec glissement (AH) du galet de test contre l’échantillon planaire de test et une révolution du galet de test sur lui-même avec un axe de révolution (21) perpendiculaire à la zone de contact.
