Abstract

La présente invention concerne un matériau adsorbant échangé à l’argent, comprenant une zéolithe, ladite zéolithe comprenant entre 1 et 6 % d’argent en poids par rapport au poids total de la zéolithe échangée à l’argent et pouvant être soumise à un prétraitement thermique avant son échange à l’argent. La présente invention concerne aussi l’utilisation du matériau adsorbant selon le premier objet de l’invention pour piéger l’iode radioactif de composés iodés sous forme gazeuse ainsi que le procédé de préparation dudit matériau adsorbant.
