Le système de l’invention est particulier en ce que : -l’au moins un détecteur d’activité comporte un module d’émission/réception radio configuré pour émettre un signal d’action détectée sous la forme d’une série de trames radio lors de la détection de toute action qu’il surveille ; et - l’objet portable comporte des moyens de calcul et un module d’émission/réception radio configurés pour recevoir le signal émis par le dispositif de détection d’activité, et pour émettre une réponse comportant une ou plusieurs caractéristiques associées en outre au signal reçu, et en ce que ; -ledit système comporte un système d’information distant comportant des moyens de mémoire et de calcul configurés pour collecter des données associées au signal ou aux signaux d’actions détectées par ledit détecteur d’activité, et à la réponse ou aux réponses de l’objet portable, ledit système d’information exécutant une analyse d’évènements dans lequel est attribuée une action détectée à l’objet portable d’une personne suivie en fonction d’une association signal/réponse à une action détectée, et des caractéristiques contenues dans ladite réponse.
