Title of the invention: Support for audiovisual equipment

Technical area

The present invention relates to the field of image broadcasting equipment, for example audiovisual equipment, and more particularly supports for flat screens, such as LCD screens.

Prior art

More specifically, the invention relates to a support for a screen, in particular a flat screen, particularly, but not exclusively, intended for professional use, for example in the context of a meeting by videoconference or a presentation in a framework school.

In the field of screen supports, it is known to fix the screen on a stand which is placed for example on a table or a desk. This is particularly the case for computer screens. Document EP 1 582 802 describes an example of such a stand. However, such a support is suitable in the case where the content to be broadcast on the screen is intended for a limited number of people, those who can sit around the table or the desk.

When the target audience includes many people, or when the space in which one wishes to disseminate the content is large, it is preferable to place the screen at a sufficiently high height so that the screen is visible by the larger number of people.

It is thus known, in particular in a professional context, to use a screen support which comprises a base which is posed on the ground, possibly by means of rollers to facilitate movement. Such a support typically comprises a post, or a column, rising from the base and on which the screen can be mounted. Document US 2012/0019990 describes an example of such a support.

However, such a support is bulky. In particular, the base is generally massive in order to be able to counterbalance when the screen is mounted on the pole and ensure the stability of the assembly. However, the risks of the support overturning are not eliminated, especially during the movement of the support. In addition, the bulky aspect of the support detracts from its visual aesthetics.

It is also known to fix a screen on a wall, in order to eliminate the floor space. The aforementioned document US 2012/0019990, and the document ER 2872871 each describe an example of such a support by fixing to the wall. However, such a support is unsuitable in particular for professional use in which it is often necessary to be able to easily move the support, for example to change the room. In addition, in professional or school premises, it may be prohibited to pierce the partitions. Such a solution is in any case unsuitable in the case where the only surface available for mounting the screen there is a window.

It is also known to use a support in the form of a column rising from a base intended to rest on the ground, the column bearing, without being fixed thereon, on a wall. The document EP2669566 describes an example of such a support.

However, this support which is supported on the wall does not support many electronic equipment. Indeed, in particular for professional use, for example for carrying out videoconferencing, not only is a screen required, but also a camera and a codec type device must also be installed. The connection cables of the various devices must also be taken into account. Indeed, in order to ensure both their protection but also in order to give the whole a pleasant aesthetic appearance, it is preferable to hide the cables.

However, in document EP2669566, the support bearing on the wall does not allow the handling of many cables. Indeed, in this document, it is proposed in this document to make a flat on the column in order to rest on a wall. The cables are housed between the column and the wall, in a space limited by the dimensions of the flat. However, these cables remain visible and unprotected. A chute can optionally be added over the column to protect the cables, increasing costs and making installation of the support tedious: at each connection change, for example when moving the support or when the screen is changed , the chute must be removed and then replaced.

It is therefore understood that increasing the number of equipment and cables on such a support implies to review the dimensions of the flat, detrimental to the aesthetics of the whole. In addition, the number of equipment and cables is necessarily limited by considerations of balance of the column: the greater the weight carried by the column, the less its stability is ensured.

Thus, if the support described in the document EP2669566 may be sufficient for a so-called dynamic display, but it is insufficient for professional applications requiring numerous equipment, such as in particular videoconferences.

Thus, there is therefore a need for a new support in particular for flat screens, in particular overcoming the aforementioned drawbacks.

Summary of the invention

Thus, the invention relates to a support for equipment comprising at least one screen. The support comprises at least one base intended to rest on a substantially horizontal ground and at least one post bearing on the base. The post has on the one hand a front wall capable of being fixed to a fixing system of at least one screen and on the other hand a rear wall. The post comprises two lateral flanks connecting the front wall and the rear wall, so that the post forms between the front wall and the rear wall a housing for the passage of cables. The rear wall also comprises at least one so-called bearing face, intended to come into contact with a substantially vertical surface without being fixed thereto. The so-called support face then comprises a device for increasing the grip on said substantially vertical surface.

Thanks in particular to these provisions, a screen, for example part of audiovisual equipment is stably supported against a substantially vertical surface without drilling. The support can thus easily be moved as required. In addition, the support incorporating a housing for the passage of cables offers an increased aesthetic appearance and protection for the cables. The number of devices received by the support, and therefore the number of cables to be managed, can be increased. In addition, when the support is moved, the cables of the screen, or of any device of the audiovisual equipment, are kept in the housing of the support: the movement of the support is thereby facilitated, the cables not having to be removed and not interfering with the handling of the support.

According to different aspects, it is possible to provide one and / or the other of the provisions below.

Thus, according to one embodiment, the rear wall may include a slot extending over at least part of the length of the post, giving access to the housing to facilitate the insertion or removal of cables. The front wall, the rear wall and the lateral flanks of the post then form a cross section in C over at least part of the length of the post. Thus, the shape of the section of the post gives it sufficient rigidity to support at least one screen. The cables in the post housing are fully protected. In fact, when the support is in abutment against the substantially vertical surface, the slot is covered by this surface, closing the housing for the passage of the cables.

According to one embodiment, the front wall, the rear wall and the lateral flanks of the post can be in one piece, that is to say formed from a single piece. For example, the part is a plate which is folded and / or cut to form the front wall, the rear wall and the side flanks. The housing for the passage of cables is thus fully integrated into the support, unlike a chute which would be attached to the support or to the substantially vertical surface. Manufacturing costs are reduced.

According to one embodiment, the support may include at least one so-called codec tablet intended to support an electronic device, in particular of the codec type. The codec tablet is then housed in a space defined from the rear wall towards the front wall. Indeed, the rear wall comprising the bearing face against the substantially vertical surface, and the lateral flanks ensuring that the rear wall and the front wall are at a certain distance from each other, this distance defines a space which can advantageously be used to install the so-called codec tablet, to support an audiovisual equipment device. The support can thus receive a larger number of devices than in the prior art. In addition, the space in which the codec tablet is housed is advantageously placed behind the screen when the latter is mounted on the support by means of the fixing system, so that the codec tablet and the device therein is placed, are hidden from users. Thus, the increase in the number of devices received on the support does not affect the aesthetics of the support in use.

For example, the codec tablet is fixed on the fixing system, facilitating the concealment of the codec tablet behind the screen.

According to one embodiment, the support may comprise at least one so-called camera shelf intended to support an electronic device, in particular of the camera type, and may comprise a device for fixing the camera shelf to the post allowing the position to be adjusted. of the tablet camera on the pole. Thus, the position of the camera shelf can be adapted in particular to the dimensions of the room in which the support is located and to the position of the audience in the room.

According to one embodiment, the camera tablet fixing device may comprise a flange rigidly fixed to the camera tablet. The flange comprises at least one magnetized surface cooperating with the post, so that the flange can slide over at least part of the length of the post. The position of the camera shelf is thus easily adjustable, by exerting an effort on the camera shelf to slide it to the desired height. No tools are required.

According to one embodiment, the post may include at least one notch. The flange then follows the shape of the notch, and the magnetic surface of the flange is in contact with the front wall inside the post housing.

Description of the embodiments

In Figures 1 to 7, there is shown a support 1 for equipment including audiovisual according to an embodiment of the invention.

Audiovisual equipment means any equipment comprising at least one screen on which an image is broadcast to an audience. The audiovisual equipment includes, for example, a screen equipped with ports for connection to auxiliary equipment of the reader type, for producing a dynamic display, that is to say for broadcasting messages remotely. In the context of the invention, the audiovisual equipment may also include a screen associated with a system making it possible to establish a remote communication, in the context of a videoconference in particular.

The support 1 comprises at least one base 2 intended to rest on a substantially horizontal floor. The base 2 can be in direct contact with the ground, or indirect by means of rollers or pads 3 for example.

In what follows, the terms "horizontal" and "vertical" should be understood with reference to the natural orientation of the figures when the base is placed on a substantially horizontal floor.

According to the embodiment of the figures, the base 2 is made from a plate cut and / or folded so as to form three branches: two extreme branches 4 connected by a central branch 5. The two extreme branches 4 inclined relative to each other, forming a V, the central branch 5 truncating the tip of the V. an axis of symmetry passing through the central branch 5 can be defined. The angle between the two extreme branches 4 is chosen in order to ensure the stability of the support 1 resting on the ground when the audiovisual equipment is mounted on it. It is for example 120 °.

The base 2 further comprises a tongue 6, obtained for example by cutting and folding the plate of the base 2, rising from the central branch 5. More specifically, the tongue 6 comprises a first portion 6a rising from the central branch 5 at an angle greater than 90 °, for example 120 °, in a direction opposite to that of the extreme branches 4, and a second portion 6b rising in the continuity of the first portion 6a at an angle substantially equal to 90 ° relative to the central branch 5. When the base 2 is placed on a substantially horizontal ground, the second portion 6b then rises substantially vertically.

The base 2 is for example made of steel, aluminum, or with a stainless steel coating in order to ensure the stability of the support 1 while providing an aesthetic rendering pleasant for the human eye.

The support 1 further comprises at least one post 7 which rests on the base 2. The post 7 extends from the base 2 substantially vertically between an end 7a called lower and an end 7b said upper.

According to the embodiment of the figures, the post 7 is produced as a single piece, unlike a piece obtained by an assembly of several elements. More specifically, the post can be produced by one or more folding and cutting operations from a single metal or plastic plate, or by extrusion.

The post 7 has a front wall 8, a rear wall 9 and two side walls 10 connecting the front wall 8 and the rear wall 9.

The terms "front" and "rear" are used here for clarity, with reference to the normal use of the support 1 when it carries a screen facing forward.

The post 7 is shown isolated in FIG. 5.

The front wall 8, the rear wall 9 and the side flanks 10 define a housing 11 suitable in particular for the passage of cables from audiovisual equipment. In other words, the front wall 8, the rear wall 9 and the side flanks 10 form a box, providing the post 7 with a function similar to that of a chute.

The length of the post 7, that is to say its vertical dimension between its lower end 7a and its upper end 7b, is preferably greater than 1 meter, more preferably greater than 1.5 meters, and is for example of the order of 1.8 meters.

The housing 11 can thus be qualified as extending inside the post 7. Consequently, in what follows, the terms "interior", "exterior" and their variants will be used with reference to the housing 11, it being understood that “interior” designates that which faces the housing 11.

The post 7 will now be described according to the embodiment of the figures.

In order to give the post 7 both an aesthetic appearance, but also in order to increase the dimensions of the housing 11 while retaining sufficient rigidity for the intended application, the lateral flanks 10 are flared, that is that is to say that their distance from one to the other increases towards the rear wall 9. In other words, the angle between each lateral flank 10 and the front wall 8 is not 90 °. According to the embodiment presented in the figures, it is approximately 100 °.

The front wall 8 extends from the lower end 7a to the upper end 7b of the post 7. It includes a lower tab 12, formed for example by folding, comprising from the lower end 7a a first portion 12a and second portion 12b inclined relative to the first portion 12a so that when the first portion 12a is pressed against the central branch 5 of the base 2, the second portion 12b is in contact with the first portion 6a of the tongue 6. The second portion 6b of the tongue 6 is then in contact with an inner face of the front wall 8. A fixing system 13, for example of the screw-nut type, can then be put in place between the tongue 6 and the front wall 8 in holes provided for this purpose.

The rear wall 9 extends opposite, and substantially parallel to at least a portion of the front wall 8, and forms at least one face 14 of support intended to come into contact with a surface substantially vertical, in particular a wall or a window. More specifically, the support face 14 is the face of the rear wall 9 which faces outwards from the housing 11.

The face 14 is provided with a device 15 for increasing the grip on said vertical surface. The device 15 for increasing the adhesion may for example comprise a special coating of the support face 14, or adherent pads rigidly fixed, for example by gluing or by screwing, on the support face 14 and distributed regularly. on the support face 14.

By the shape and dimensions of the tab 12 of the front wall 8 cooperating with the tongue 6 of the base 2, at least the rear wall 9 of the post 7 is located beyond the central branch 5 of the base 2 , in the opposite direction to that of the lateral branches 4. The base 2 is then at a distance from the substantially vertical surface when the bearing face 14 is in contact with the substantially vertical surface.

According to the embodiment shown in the figures, the support face 14 is discontinuous. More specifically, the rear wall 9 has at least one slot 16 extends vertically, substantially equidistant from the lateral flanks 10, so as to form an opening for the housing 11. Access to the housing 11 is thereby facilitated. In addition, as the bearing face 14 is intended to come into contact with a wall or a window, the slot 16 is covered by the wall or the window, and when cables are placed in the housing 11, they are protected by the wall or the glass. This results in a saving of material for producing the post 7. Thus, the support face 14 extends on either side of the vertical slot 16.

In other words, the slot 16 gives the post 7, on the portion in which the rear wall 9 is vis-à-vis the front wall 8, a C-shaped cross section.

In addition, the post 7 may have a series of notches 17 straddling the lateral flanks 10 and the rear wall 9: on a notch 17, part of each lateral flank 10 is bitten, and the face 14 d there is no support. The sides 10 bitten by the notches 17 provide access to the housing 11 for example for the passage of cables from the front wall 8 when the bearing face 14 is in contact with a wall or a window. The cables are then not crushed between the post 7 and the substantially vertical surface.

According to the example of the figures, the notches 17 are two in number. They are located on the post 7 at suitable places for the passage of cables, as will be explained below.

Thus, at the notches 17, the post 7 has a U-shaped cross section.

Preferably, for aesthetic reasons, the front wall 8 remains full. However, it may have slots or indentations in a similar manner to that which has been presented for the rear wall 9 without this modifying the function of the support 1.

The support 1 comprising such a post 7 is then particularly suitable for supporting various audiovisual equipment.

Thus, the support 1 is equipped in particular with at least one system 18 for fixing at least one screen on the wall 8 before the post 7, on the outside of the housing 11.

The fixing system 18 comprises for example a mounting plate 19 which is fixed on the front wall 8 on the outside of the housing 11 by means for example of a screw nut type assembly. The mounting plate 19 and the front wall 8 are provided with holes for this purpose. The plate 19 can be fixed at different positions, along the length of the post 7, on the front wall 8 as required.

The fixing system 18 then further comprises a mounting bar 20, also fixing for example by a screw-nut type system, on the mounting plate 19. The position of the mounting bar 20 on the mounting plate 19 is also adaptable as required.

The fixing system 18 finally comprises a pair of arms 21. The arms 21 are for example previously fixed, using a screw-nut type system, on a screen. The arms 21 are each provided with a notch 22 of suitable dimensions so that the mounting bar 20 comes to lodge there. A fixing system, of the screw-nut type, can secure the arms 21 on the mounting bar 20.

Directly, the fixing system 18 can be adapted to mount several screens on the post 7.

Thanks in particular to the shape of the post 7 comprising the housing 11, the arms 21 are spaced from the rear wall 9 so as to release a space which will be found behind the screen when the latter is mounted on the bar 18.

This space is sufficient to place a shelf 23 called codec, because intended to support an electronic device, in particular of the codec type used to make videoconferences. The 23 codec tablet is fixed for example on the mounting bar 20 of the fixing system 18, so as to extend in the direction of the rear wall 9, without however going beyond the rear wall 9. Thus, when the screen is mounted on the post 7, the tablet 23 codec and the device therein are invisible to users. In other words, the codec tablet 23 is housed in a defined space from the rear wall 9 towards the front wall 8.

Preferably, one of the notches 17 is located so as to be in the position, along the length of the post 7, of the tablet 23 codec. Thus, the cables of the device on the 23 codec tablet can be placed in the housing 11 through the notch 17 biting on one of the side flanks 10.

The support 1 may also include a shelf 24 called camera, mounted on the post using a fixing device 25, and intended to support an electronic device, in particular of the camera type. The camera tablet 24 is for example positioned between the base 2 and the fixing system 18, so that when the screen is mounted on the support, the camera tablet 24 is located under the screen. Thus, when a camera is placed on the camera shelf 24, its field of vision is clear.

The position of the camera shelf 24 along the post 7 is preferably adjustable. To this end, the fixing device 25 can comprise a magnetized flange 26, that is to say having a magnetized face 27. For example, the magnetized face 27 is provided with a coating giving it magnetization properties, or magnets 28 are rigidly fixed, by gluing or screwing, on the magnetized face 27. The flange 26 has a shape corresponding to that of the post 7 at a notch 17. The flange 26 further comprises two wings 29 extending on either side of the magnetized face 27.

The shape of the flange 26 then allows it to press the magnetized face 27 against the front wall 8 inside the housing 11, the two wings 29 extending on either side of the post 7, au- beyond the lateral flanks 10, passing through the bite of a notch 17 in the lateral flanks 10. The video tablet 24 can then be rigidly fixed on the wings 29 of the flange 26.

The position of the shelf 24 can then be adjusted on the post 7 by sliding the flange 26 against the front wall 8, in the housing 11. The dimension of the notch 17 in which the flange 26 is positioned defines the extreme positions of the video tablet 24. Indeed, the notch 17 is bordered vertically by portions of the rear wall 9, forming a stop for the flange 26.

The force exerted by the magnetization of the magnetized face 27 of the flange 26 is determined to support a load corresponding to the video tablet 24, its fixing device 25 and the device intended to be placed on the video tablet 24 , while allowing the video tablet 24 to be moved when a user exerts an effort on it.

Thus, when a user wants to adjust the position of the video tablet 24 along the post 7, no tool is necessary, and he just has to go to exert a predetermined effort to overcome the force exerted by the face 27 magnetized with the flange 26 on the post 7 and slide the flange 26 along the post 7. Once the desired position has been reached, the user ceases to exert the force on the shelf 24, which remains in the position .

The support 1 thus presented thus makes it possible to support at least one screen in a stable and elegant manner, without fixing to a wall or a window. The shape of the post 7 forming a housing 11 for the cables makes it possible to install a higher number of equipment than in the prior art, while retaining a high visual aesthetic. In fact, the cables for connecting the various pieces of equipment can simply be placed in the housing 11 of the post 7. Access to the housing 11 from the outside of the front wall 8 is made simply by the notches 17 disposed along the length of the post. 7. The post 7 thus acts as a chute.

The cables can be cables which connect the various devices to each other, and also the power cables.

According to one embodiment, the width of the housing 11 in the post 7, that is to say the horizontal dimension between the side flanks 10, is adapted so that a multiple socket type accessory can be accommodated there.

In order to hide the cables, in particular the power cables, openings are made in a lower portion of the support 1. More specifically, according to the embodiment of the figures, a first opening 30 is formed on the first portion 6a of the tongue. 6 of the base 2 and on the second portion 12b of the tab 12. More specifically, the first opening 30 comprises an opening 30a made on the first portion 6a of the tongue 6 and an opening 30b made on the second portion 12b of the tab 12 , the two openings 30a, 30b being coincident when the second portion 12b of the tab 12 is fixed on the first portion 6a of the tongue 6. One or more power cables can be brought along the wall or the glass with which the bearing face 14 is in contact or by passing under the base 2 when the latter is not in direct contact with the ground.
