Abstract
L’invention se rapporte à un procédé de mesure de l’attitude d’un appendice (AP) d’un satellite (SAT), le satellite (SAT) comprenant un senseur stellaire de plateforme (SP), monté sur une plateforme (PF) du satellite (SAT), un système de traitement de données (CC, CL), et un senseur stellaire d’appendice (SA), relié au système de traitement de données (CC, CL), monté sur l’appendice (AP), le procédé de mesure comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) acquisition, par le senseur stellaire de plateforme (SP), d’images de l’environnement extérieur de la plateforme (PF) ; b) détermination, par le système de traitement de données (CC, CL), de l’attitude de la plateforme (PF) à partir desdites images ; c) acquisition, par le senseur stellaire d’appendice (SA), d’images de l’environnement extérieur de l’appendice (AP) ; d) détermination, par le système de traitement de données (CC, CL), de l’attitude de l’appendice (AP), à partir des images de l’environnement extérieur de l’appendice (AP) acquises par le senseur stellaire d’appendice (SA), et d’une estimation de l’attitude de l’appendice (AP) par rapport à l’attitude de la plateforme (PF).
