Abstract

Le contrôle d’un élément filtrant (EF) d’un filtre à air (1) est réalisé afin de déterminer le moment opportun pour réaliser une rechange. Le système utilise des paramètres d’évolution depuis l’installation de l’élément filtrant, cet élément étant monté de façon amovible dans une conduite d’aération (60) d’un véhicule. On prévoit les étapes suivantes :- stocker, dans une unité (10) de caractérisation de l’élément filtrant montée dans le véhicule, des données de collecte relatives à une date d’installation dans le véhicule et/ou un kilométrage parcouru depuis cette date ;- utiliser les donnée de collecte et éventuellement des données supplémentaires de contexte indiquant des conditions de roulage du véhicule, lors d’une étape de comparaison avec un ou plusieurs seuils, afin de déterminer si l’élément filtrant (EF) doit être conservé ou changé ; - transmettre (45), en cas de changement requis, une information correspondante à un terminal récepteur (30).
