Abstract

A device (10) for physiological recovery of a person or an animal comprises at least one compression sleeve (101) capable of being threaded along a part of a limb (11) and exerting a compression force , at least one receptacle (102) arranged on an external face (101a) of the compression sleeve (101) and at least one deformable container (103) at least partially housed in said receptacle (102). This container (103) automatically conforms to the external physiognomy of the part of the limb (11) and delimits an internal volume containing a fluid medium and solid bodies distinct from the fluid medium and capable of diffusing a temperature below the temperature of the part of the member (11).

TECHNICAL AREA

The present invention relates to a physiological recovery device intended for physiological recovery of a person or an animal carrying said device, for example a physical effort.

The invention also relates to the use of such a device.

STATE OF THE PRIOR ART

In the context of physiological recovery after efforts by a person or an animal, pressotherapy solutions are known which consists in applying a pressure distributed over the skin at the level of the muscles intended for physiological recovery. For example, it can be used compression sleeves to be put along the calves or thighs, or compression cuffs to be put along the arms.

Other physiological recovery solutions exploit the effects of cold, this cryotherapy technique being applied to the muscles intended to undergo physiological recovery. For example, some expensive machines are based on a principle of cooled water pulsed by air.

Beyond the very high cost, one of the problems with such machines is that they are fixed and only work when connected to the electrical network. The efficiency of physiological recovery remains perfectible because, as the person is immobilized, it is not possible to implement active recovery where the person remains in motion during his recovery phase, with all the benefits that have already demonstrated with respect to static recovery.

STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention aims to provide a physiological recovery device for the fastest and most complete physiological recovery possible.

In particular, the object of the invention is to propose a physiological recovery device which meets at least one of the following objectives:

- allow a very efficient and optimized physiological recovery,

- allow active physiological recovery during which the person or animal retains freedom of movement and movement,

- act optimally on the limb requiring physiological recovery,

- obtain the fastest and most complete physiological recovery possible,

- allow a targeted action on the limb requiring physiological recovery.

This object can be achieved by providing a physiological recovery device intended for physiological recovery of a person or an animal wearing said device, the device comprising:

at least one compression sleeve adapted to be threaded along a part of a member of the person or animal, delimiting an internal face directly in contact with the skin of said member and configured so as to exert a force of compression over the entire surface of the contact interface between said part of the limb and the internal face of the compression sleeve, at least one receptacle arranged on an external face of the compression sleeve, at least one deformable container at least partially housed in said receptacle, having properties of flexibility such that the deformable container automatically conforms to the external physiognomy of the part of the limb of the person or animal carrying said device and delimiting an internal volume containing a fluid medium and solid bodies distinct from the fluid media and capable of diffusing a temperature lower than the temperature of the part of the limb of the person or animal carrying said device.

Some preferred but non-limiting aspects are as follows.

The compression sleeve is at least partially made of an elastically deformable material.

The compression sleeve exerts compression of said part of the limb according to a pressure level of between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury when the device is worn by the person or the animal.

The compression sleeve comprises at least one adjustment system making it possible to adjust the level of pressure of the compression of said part of the member exerted by the compression sleeve when the device is worn by the person or the animal.

The adjustment system comprises at least one strap arranged to adjust the tightness of said part of the member exerted by the compression sleeve when the device is worn by the person or the animal.

The adjustment system comprises at least one elastic band arranged to adjust the tightness of said part of the member exerted by the compression sleeve when the device is worn by the person or the animal.

The compression sleeve is arranged to exert compression at a first pressure level of between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury when the device is worn by the person or the animal at the level of a first fraction of the limb portion along which the compression sleeve is threaded and compression according to a second pressure level, distinct from the first pressure level and between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury when the device is worn by the person or the animal, at the level a second fraction of the part of the member along which the compression sleeve is threaded, distinct from the first fraction.

The compression sleeve contains non-slip elements arranged so as to hold the sleeve in place on the part of the member.

The receptacle is formed in a part that is removable relative to the compression sleeve, the receptacle and the compression sleeve respectively comprising first elements and second elements of the same self-adhesive fixing system with reversible adhesion.

The receptacle is permanently attached to the compression sleeve.

The deformable container is formed in a removable part with respect to the receptacle, the receptacle and the deformable container respectively comprising first elements and second elements of the same reversible fixing system, in particular of the self-adhesive type with reversible adhesion.

The compression sleeve is shaped so as to constitute a garment chosen from: a pantyhose able to be put on along a leg of the person or a leg of the animal, an armband able to be put on along an arm of the person, a bustier capable of being put on the torso of the person or the body of the animal.

The invention also relates to the use of such a device as an active physiological recovery device allowing freedom of movement for the person or the animal.

DETAILED PRESENTATION OF PARTICULAR EMBODIMENTS

In the figures and in the following description, the same references represent the same or similar elements. Furthermore, the different embodiments and variants are not mutually exclusive and can be combined with one another.

The invention essentially relates to a physiological recovery device 10 intended to allow active physiological recovery of a person or an animal carrying said device 10.

The device 10 first comprises at least one compression sleeve 101 capable of being threaded along a part of a member 11 of the person or the animal. According to a particular, nonlimiting embodiment illustrated in FIG. 1, the sleeve 101 can be shaped to constitute a pantyhose capable of being threaded along a leg of a person or a leg of an animal. Alternatively, the sleeve 101 can be shaped to constitute an armband capable of being threaded along an arm of a person. According to another particular nonlimiting and not illustrated embodiment, the compression sleeve 101 can be shaped to constitute a bustier capable of being put on the torso of the person or the body of the animal. The compression sleeve 101 can be shaped to grip the entire limb or, alternatively, to cover only part of the limb, such as for example only a calf without covering the thigh, or only a thigh without covering the calf.

The compression sleeve 101 delimits an internal face intended to be directly in contact with the skin of the member 11 when the sleeve 101 is threaded on the member 11. This makes it possible to advantageously apply the compression directly to the surface of the member 11 which is sought physiological recovery. The sleeve 101 is thus configured so as to exert a compressive force over the entire surface of the contact interface between the part of the member 11 to be treated and the internal face of the compression sleeve 101.

In a particular nonlimiting embodiment, the compression sleeve 101 is formed from a material that can deform elastically. This material can be, for example, an elastic textile such as, for example, spandex known under the trade name "Lycra", or a mixture of spandex and polyester. The shape of the compression sleeve 101, in combination with the elasticity of the material of which it is composed, advantageously makes it possible to achieve compression of at least part of the member 11 once the compression sleeve 101 is threaded onto the member 11. By example, the compression sleeve 101 can be formed so as to deform so as to be threaded along the member 11. The elastic deformation of the compression sleeve 101, once threaded along the member 11, advantageously makes it possible to achieve compression according to a pressure level of between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury on at least part of the limb 11. These compression values are understood to be outside atmospheric pressure since limb 11 is considered to be already subjected to atmospheric pressure. These compression values advantageously make it possible to act on muscles and blood vessels, which accelerates physiological recovery after physical exertion.

In a particular nonlimiting embodiment, the compression sleeve 101 is arranged so as to exert, at a first fraction of the member portion 11 along which the compression sleeve 101 is threaded, compression according to a first pressure level between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury, and to exert, at a second fraction of the member portion 11 along which the compression sleeve 101 is threaded and different from the first fraction, compression according to a second pressure level distinct from the first pressure level and between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury. For example, the first fraction of the member 11 can correspond to all or part of a calf and the second fraction can correspond to all or part of the thigh located above this calf, the compression at the calf being strictly greater than that applied to the thigh to improve the respective effects of physiological recovery.

In a nonlimiting embodiment illustrated in FIG. 3, the compression sleeve 101 comprises at least one adjustment system 14 making it possible to adjust the level of compression pressure of the part of the member 11 exerted by the compression sleeve 101 when the device 10 is worn by the person or the animal. It should be noted that such an adjustment system 14 is entirely optional, the compression sleeve 101 therefore being able to be devoid of such an adjustment system 14.

FIG. 3 also illustrates a particular example where the adjustment system 14 surrounds the member 11 and overlaps the receptacle 102 which will be detailed below, passing over or under it. Nevertheless, the adjustment system 14 can for example surround a part of the member 11 devoid of receptacle 102.

In a nonlimiting embodiment as shown diagrammatically in FIG. 3, the adjustment system 14 comprises at least one strap 141 arranged to adjust the tightening of the part of the member 11 exerted by the compression sleeve 101 when the device 10 is worn by the person or animal.

Alternatively, another particular embodiment provides that the adjustment system 14 comprises at least one elastic band 142 arranged to adjust the tightness of the part of the member 11 exerted by the compression sleeve 101 when the device 10 is worn by the person or the animal. The compression sleeve 101 can comprise, for example, one or more bands at least partially surrounding the member 11 locally and whose elastic modulus differs from the material making up the major part of the compression sleeve 101. This difference in elastic modulus allows advantageously to generate compressions of different values locally at the level of the elastic bands 142. The elastic band 142 can be formed, for example, of rubber, of thermoplastic, of a silicone, or of elastane also known under the trade name "Lycra" and be integrated on the compression sleeve 101 for example by insertion into the thickness of the material making up the compression sleeve 101 or else for example by sewing or by thermoforming or overmolding.

In another embodiment illustrated in FIG. 4, the compression sleeve 101 contains non-slip elements 104 arranged so as to hold the sleeve 101 on the part of the member 11 under the non-slip effect between these elements and the skin of the member 11. The non-slip elements 104 can for example be placed at the ends of the compression sleeve 101, and typically transversely to the axis of the member 11 along which the compression sleeve 101 is threaded. The non-slip elements 104 can be formed for example of rubber or of thermoplastic or of a silicone and can be integrated on the compression sleeve 101, for example, by insertion into the thickness of the material making up the compression sleeve 101 or else for example by sewing or thermoforming or overmolding.

The physiological recovery device 10 also comprises at least one receptacle 102 arranged on an external face 101a of the sleeve 101. Examples of receptacle 102 are illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4. In particular, the receptacle 102 is advantageously deformable which allows it to adapt to the morphology of the limb 11.

In a particular nonlimiting embodiment, the receptacle 102 is formed in a removable part with respect to the compression sleeve 101. The receptacle 102 and the compression sleeve 101 comprise, for example respectively first elements and second elements of the same reversible self-adhesive fastening system. For example, the self-adhesive fixing system is formed by elements known under the trade name VELCRO © or SCRATCH © or for example snaps.

In another particular nonlimiting embodiment, the receptacle 102 is permanently fixed to the compression sleeve 101, for example by being sewn or glued to the compression sleeve 101, or also by overmolding or thermoforming on the compression sleeve 101.

In a particular non-limiting embodiment illustrated inter alia in FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, the receptacle 102 can be arranged for example, at the level of an arm, a thigh, a calf, a leg, back, shoulders, belly, abdomen, front or back of the person or animal. The number of receptacles 102 is not limiting and for example, in the particular case where the compression sleeve 101 is shaped to form a sticker, there may for example be three receptacles 102 per leg, two of which are located at the level of the thigh and one at the calf.

The physiological recovery device 10 also comprises at least one deformable container 103 at least partially housed in said receptacle 102 as illustrated in FIG. 2. The deformable container 103 has properties of flexibility such that it automatically conforms to the external physiognomy of the part of the limb 11 of the person or animal wearing the device

The deformable container 103 delimits an internal volume containing a fluid medium and solid bodies distinct from the fluid medium capable of diffusing a temperature strictly lower than the temperature of the part of the member 11 of the person or animal carrying the device 10 The fluidic medium and / or the solid bodies distinct from the fluidic medium may be, for example, heat-transfer or heat-insulating or be thermal conductors or be capable of storing heat or cold to release them slowly. By way of example, it may be cold pockets filled with a gaseous or liquid fluid medium, in which beads or other particles are present, such as for example cold pockets known under the trade name Therapearl © or again Freezsnow ©.

By the high performance that the fluidic medium and / or solid bodies can have in terms of capacity for generating cold compared to a mono-material bag, by the ability to mechanically adapt to the morphology of the member who is in contact (the fluid medium being deformable and the solid bodies being self-adapting in terms of shape occupied spatially), and by the specific pressure on the member 11 which the solid bodies induce, the deformable container 103 is particularly effective and advantageous in terms of effect produced in physiological recovery, in addition to the freedom of movement offered.

According to a nonlimiting embodiment, the deformable container 103 is formed in a removable part relative to the receptacle 102. The receptacle 102 and the deformable container 103 respectively comprise first elements and second elements of the same reversible fixing system, in particular of the self-adhesive type with reversible adhesion. For example, such a self-adhesive fixing system can be formed by elements known under the trade name VELCRO © or SCRATCH ©.

According to another embodiment, the deformable container 103 can be integral with the receptacle 102 in which it is housed permanently and not reversible, except to envisage deterioration of one of the other of course.

Once the deformable container 103 has reached a sufficiently cold temperature, advantageously between -20 ° C and 10 ° C, to allow optimal physiological recovery, the deformable container 103 is inserted into the receptacle 102. The receptacle 102 and the container deformable 103 being advantageously capable of conforming as closely as possible to the morphology of member 11, there follows a maximum heat exchange between member 11 and in particular its skin and the muscles of member 11 and the deformable container 103.

Advantageously, the device 10 as described allows it to be used for active recovery, where the person retains all his freedom of movement. Active recovery has already been shown to be more beneficial than static recovery. As another advantage, the device 10 makes it possible to combine an action of the cryotherapy type and of the pressotherapy type on at least one same part of the limb 11. This combination of compression between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury associated with the diffusion of a temperature lower than that of the member 11 via the presence of the deformable container 103, is advantageous because it will generate a maximization of the active physiological recovery after the effort which will be more effective than the cryotherapy applied alone or that the pressotherapy applied alone, all the more so in the context of active recovery where the person or animal has the freedom to stay in motion.

Thus, the invention also relates to the fact of using the device 10 as an active physiological recovery device allowing freedom of movement for the person or the animal. By being worn threaded on the member 11 for several minutes to several tens of minutes after physical exertion, it advantageously makes it possible to maximize physiological recovery by combining cryotherapy and pressotherapy while preserving the freedom of movement of the person or of the animal.

Claims (13)

1. Physiological recovery device (10) intended for physiological recovery of a person or an animal carrying said device (10), the device (10) comprising: at least one compression sleeve (101) capable of being threaded along a part of a member (11) of the person or animal, delimiting an internal face directly in contact with the skin of said member (11) and configured so as to exert a compressive force over the entire surface of the contact interface between said part of the member (11) and the internal face of the compression sleeve, at least one receptacle (102) arranged on an external face ( 101a) of the compression sleeve (101), at least one deformable container (103) at least partially housed in said receptacle (102), having flexibility properties such that the deformable container (103) automatically conforms to the external physiognomy of the part of the limb (11) of the person or animal carrying said device (10) and delimiting an internal volume containing a fluid medium and solid bodies distinct from the fluid medium and capable of diffusing a temperature below the temperature of the part of the m member (11) of the person or animal wearing said device (10). 2. Device (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that the compression sleeve (101) is at least partially made of an elastically deformable material. 3. Device (10) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the compression sleeve (101) exerts compression of said part of the member (11) according to a pressure level between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury when the device (10) is worn by the person or the animal. 4. Device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the compression sleeve (101) comprises at least one adjustment system (14) making it possible to adjust the pressure level of the compression of said part of the limb (11) exerted by the compression sleeve (101) when the device (10) is carried by the person or the animal. 5. Device (10) according to claim 4, characterized in that the adjustment system (14) comprises at least one strap (141) arranged to adjust the tightening of said part of the member (11) exerted by the compression sleeve ( 101) when the device (10) is worn by the person or the animal. 6. Device (10) according to one of claims 4 or 5, characterized in that the adjustment system (14) comprises at least one elastic band (142) arranged to adjust the tightening of said part of the member (11) exerted by the compression sleeve (101) when the device (10) is carried by the person or the animal. 7. Device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the compression sleeve (101) is arranged so as to exert compression according to a first pressure level between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury when the device (10) is worn by the person or the animal at the level of a first fraction of the limb part (11) along which the compression sleeve (101) is threaded and compression according to a second level pressure, distinct from the first pressure level and between 10 and 35 millimeters of mercury when the device (10) is worn by the person or the animal, at a second fraction of the limb part (11) on along which the compression sleeve (101) is threaded, distinct from the first fraction. 8. Device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the compression sleeve (101) contains non-slip elements (104) arranged so as to hold the sleeve (101) in place on the part of the member (11). 9. Device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the receptacle (102) is formed in a removable part relative to the compression sleeve (101) and in that the receptacle (102) and the compression sleeve (101) respectively comprise first elements and second elements of the same self-adhesive fixing system with reversible adhesion. 10. Device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the receptacle (102) is permanently fixed to the compression sleeve (101). 11. Device (10) according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the deformable container (103) is formed in a removable part relative to the receptacle (102) and in that the receptacle (102) and the deformable container (103) respectively comprise first elements and second elements of the same reversible fixing system, in particular of the self-adhesive type with reversible adhesion. 12. Device (10) according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the compression sleeve (101) is shaped so as to constitute a garment chosen from: a pantyhose capable of being slipped along a leg of the person or of a leg of the animal, an armband able to be threaded along an arm of the person, a bustier able to be threaded on the torso of the person or the body of the animal. 13. Use of a device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 12 as an active physiological recovery device allowing freedom of movement for the person or the animal.
