Bloc de batterie de traction d'un véhicule automobile électrique ou hybride, comportant des cellules électrochimiques (4), et un cadre comprenant des longerons (12) disposés suivant une direction longitudinale et des traverses (10) disposées suivant une direction transversale, les longerons (12) et les traverses (10) formant entre eux des logements recevant chacun un ensemble de cellules (2), chaque cellule électrochimique (4) d'un ensemble de cellules (2) non fixée entre elles, étant maintenue en position dans son ensemble (2) par le serrage des longerons (12) et des traverses (10).
