Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné au maltage de céréales ainsi que des exemples d'application. Le grain, sortie de sa phase de trempe est disposé sur un premier convoyeur en spirale en couche fine. Le grain en phase de germination passe d'une spirale montante à une spirale descendante sans autre manipulation qu'une légère chute d'un convoyeur à l'autre dans sa phase de germination jusqu'à sa phase de séchage. Une salle cloisonnée, contenant autant de convoyeurs que nécessaire est pourvue d'un moyen de ventilation, d'un moyen de maintien en température de la salle, d'un moyen d'humidification pour la phase de germination, et de deux salles cloisonnées avec moyen de séchage pour la phase de touraillage. Le produit peut ensuite être finalement déchargé sous forme de malt. Le procédé est caractérisé par le fait que l'on manutentionne le grain le minimum possible au cours de sa transformation, toute en luis offrant des conditions de développement optimum. Ce procédé offre des avantages économiques importants en terme de dispositif immobilier et matériel, tout en économisant de l'énergie.The invention relates to a method for malting cereals as well as application examples.
