L'invention concerne un ensemble de protection d'un carter de turbine basse pression, ledit carter comprenant une bride aval (21), ladite bride aval (21) étant destinée à être fixée à une bride d'un carter d'échappement, l'ensemble de protection étant destiné à être fixé à la bride aval (21) et à être disposé radialement à l'extérieur de la bride aval (21), ledit ensemble de protection comprenant un élément de protection (43) et un élément d'absorption de choc disposé entre l'élément de protection (43) et la bride aval (21), l'élément d'absorption de choc étant configuré pour amortir un choc d'une pièce sur l'élément de protection (43).
