Abstract

Un procédé de transmission optique de données pour des applications de réalité virtuelle ou augmentée destinées à au moins deux utilisateurs situés dans une même zone. Les utilisateurs sont munis d'un casque (HMD) de réalité virtuelle ou augmentée, connecté à un réseau de télécommunication. Chaque casque (HMD) est identifié par une adresse réseau (MAC), pour recevoir de/envoyer à un serveur des données de réalité virtuelle ou augmentée, Plusieurs points d'accès optique (AP), couvrent ensemble la zone et ont chacun des données de localisation prédéterminées, communiquent avec un ou plusieurs des casques (HMD) connectés. Le serveur accède à une table d'adressage comportant des adresses réseau (MAC) respectives des points d'accès optique (AP), en correspondance des données de localisation respectives de ces points d'accès optique (AP). Le procédé comporte une communication bilatérale entre le serveur et chaque casque via un point d'accès optique (AP).
