The invention relates to the transport and / or deposit of mechanical parts in a work space such as a manufacturing workshop, a storage store or the like, in which mechanical parts are handled such as transmission shafts, pinions or the like. needing to be chocked so as not to roll on their support.

PRIOR STATE OF THE ART

In a manufacturing workshop, the mechanical parts undergo transformation operations on separate machine-type stations, requiring each part to be transferred from one station to another.

In mass production, a single part is manufactured on each production line at a high rate, so that automated and specific handling systems are provided on each line to transfer the produced parts from one station to the other.

In the case of a more diversified production workshop, the parts on which the operators work are very diverse, so that it is not possible to envisage a standardized handling system. A rolling cart then allows them to be moved from one station to another, or else to go and store them in a storage store.

This trolley may include compartments or trays, of dimensions approximating to the parts, and of various materials. The parts of revolution thus deposited are thus partially retained between the partitions, so that they do not fall during their transport.

Another possibility consists in providing holes in one of the shelves of the trolley in order to vertically engage the revolution part (s) to be transported, which implies that the revolution part has an appropriate non-tubular shape, and that it has an end having an adequate diameter to constitute an axial stop.

The cart can also be equipped with a kind of gantry comprising inclined spikes, on which the parts of revolution can be engaged; but this implies that they have a central through hole.

The object of the invention is to provide a versatile solution to facilitate the transport and / or storage of revolution parts in a mechanical workshop in which very diverse parts are manipulated by their shapes and by their dimensions.

STATEMENT OF THE INVENTION

To this end, the subject of the invention is a mat for receiving mechanical parts of revolution, comprising a sheet of elastomeric material comprising convex portions and concave portions arranged in a checkerboard pattern, each convex portion and each portion concave with a top having a hole.

With this arrangement, the parts can be placed indifferently on the carpet, being blocked by the reliefs formed by the alternation of concave portions and convex portions.

The invention also relates to a carpet thus defined, in which the convex portions and the concave portions have shapes symmetrical to one another with respect to a median plane of the carpet.

The invention also relates to a carpet thus defined, in which each convex portion and each concave portion has an evolving conical shape, from polygonal base to the median plane (PM), up to circular at its top.

The invention also relates to a carpet thus defined, having rectilinear edges delimiting a rectangular or square contour, each edge passing through the vertices of the concave portions, and in which the four angles of the rectangular or square contour each coincide with a vertex of concave portion .

DETAILED PRESENTATION OF PARTICULAR EMBODIMENTS

In FIG. 1, a mat 1 according to the invention with a rectangular outline is assembled with three other mats 2, 3 and 4 which are identical, resting on a common flat support not shown to form a set of mats 6 having itself a rectangular outline.

Four mechanical parts of revolution are here deposited on the belt assembly 6, comprising a solid shaft 7, a rotor 8, a toothed wheel 9 carried by a hollow shaft, and a ball bearing 10.

Each carpet 1-4 is formed of a sheet of initially flat elastomeric material 11 which has been shaped to have convex portions and concave portions alternated in a checkerboard pattern, with a hole at the top of each convex portion and each concave portion. It more particularly comprises curved portions each delimiting a convex portion on the upper face of the mat and a concave portion on the opposite face, that is to say on the underside of the mat.

As can be seen in FIG. 2, the carpet 1 has twenty-five entire convex portions, that is to say five parallel rows each comprising five convex portions.

The carpet 1 comprises sixteen whole concave portions as well as sixteen concave half-portions located along its edges and four quarters of concave portions each located at one of the angles of its rectangular outline. Concretely, the carpet 1 has four parallel rows each including four entire concave portions and two concave half-portions at its ends, as well as two lateral rows each comprising four concave half-portions and two quarters of concave portions at its ends.

The number of concave and convex portions per mat is determined by the characteristics of the dimensional range of the parts. The number and dimensions of the cells formed by the concave and convex portions can vary in a homothetic manner, depending on the dimensional characteristics of the parts to be treated and the manufacturing method envisaged for the carpet and the staples.

Each entire concave portion is surrounded by four entire convex portions, and each entire convex portion is surrounded by four entire or partial concave portions.

In FIG. 2, four adjacent convex portions are identified by 12, 14, 16 and 18 and are arranged according to the vertices of a square, and four concave portions which are contiguous to them respectively are identified by 13, 15, 17 and 19. The concave portion 15 is entire, the portions 13 and 19 are concave half-portions each along one edge of the mat 1 while the portion 17 is a quarter of the concave portion located at an angle to the rectangular outline of this mat.

Each convex portion has a hole at its top, the holes identified by T12, T14, T16 and T18 in Figure 2 being formed at the vertices of the convex portions 12, 14, 16 and 18. Similarly, each concave portion has a hole at the top.

In FIG. 2, a quarter of a hole identified by T17 is formed at the top of the quarter of concave portion 17, two half-holes T13 and T19 are formed at the tops of the concave half-portions 13 and 19, and a hole T15 is formed at the top of the concave portion 15.

Thanks to these holes, dirt falls on the support carrying the carpet, which simplifies cleaning. Furthermore, these holes make it possible to place the mat in an automated greasing or lubrication tank for mechanical parts, the oil or grease being able to flow freely through these holes instead of accumulating in the cells delimited by the concave portions and convex portions.

These holes can also be used to permanently fix the carpet to a support by means of collars of the Rilsan type or the like, or fix accessories by combined use of the holes and of the shape of cells to introduce fixing systems therein. They can also be used for attaching additional support accessories by appropriate use of the shapes of the mat and a lock incorporating in broad outline the principle of fixing the staples described below.

Furthermore, the choice of an elastomeric material, such as polyurethane or silicone makes it possible to ensure that the carpet does not scratch and injure the parts that it receives, while absorbing any shocks. The ribbed structure of the pattern with alternate convex and concave portions in a checkerboard pattern gives the carpet sufficient mechanical rigidity to support pieces of significant weight, although the thickness of the elastomer sheet is small.

The carpet 1 is shaped by molding or hot stamping of a sheet of elastomeric material 11 so as to constitute the convex portions and the concave portions as well as their holes, and if necessary to delimit its rectangular outline.

In general, the carpet 1 the concave portions and the convex portions extend on either side of a median plane marked by PM in FIG. 2 and which is located midway between the opposite faces of the carpet , that is to say halfway between the holes of the apexes of convex cavities and the holes of the apexes of concave cavities.

As can be seen in FIG. 2, the holes of a concave portion and of a contiguous convex portion are connected to each other by a portion of elastomeric sheet constituting a portion of wall with a substantially hexagonal outline, including two opposite sides each coincide with a quarter hole. One of these faces is hatched in FIG. 2.

Thus, the hole T15 of the concave portion 15 is connected to the hole T12 of the convex portion 12 by a portion of a hexagonal wall, and it is connected to the holes T14, T16 and T18 formed at the vertices of the convex portions which surround it by three other portions of hexagonal walls. These four hexagonal portions connected to each other thus jointly delimit the concave portion 15 as a whole, while each delimiting a quarter of one of the four convex portions contiguous to this concave portion 15.

Analogously and symmetrically, the hole T14 formed at the top of the convex portion 14 is surrounded by four hexagonal portions by which it is connected to the holes of the four concave portions which surround it. These four portions of hexagonal walls connected to each other jointly delimit the convex portion 14 while each forming a quarter of one of the four concave portions contiguous to the convex portion 14.

Each convex portion thus has a generally pyramid shape with a square or rectangular base at the level in particular of the median plane PM, having rounded edges, each edge corresponding to the junction of two contiguous hexagonal wall portions: its shape is more precisely an evolving shape. of cone pyramid type, having a square or rectangular base and a circular apex.

The shape of the concave portion is thus symmetrical with the shape of the convex portion with respect to the median plane PM. Thus, in the example of FIG. 2, a symmetrical shape of the convex portion 14 relative to the plane PM, offset by a half-step in two perpendicular directions in the plane PM coincides with the concave portion 15. As we l 'will have understood, a step here corresponds to the distance separating two contiguous convex portions parallel to an edge of the carpet.

The alternation of concave and convex shapes of the carpet 1 according to the invention allows it to receive mechanical parts of various shapes and sizes while ensuring their blocking without an additional element being necessary.

In practice, each concave portion delimits with the convex portions which surround it a cell of relatively large dimensions, and thanks to the arrangement of checkerboard alternation of the concave and convex portions, they jointly form two series of channels perpendicular to one another. the other and parallel to the edges of the carpet. Two of these perpendicular channels are identified by RI and R2 in Figure 2, where they are symbolized by dashed lines.

This checkerboard arrangement makes it possible to delimit two other channels axes marked by R3 and R4 having diagonal orientations inclined at 45 ° with respect to the channels RI and R2.

When an operator deposits a part, he only has to orient it parallel to one or the other of the edges of the belt, or along one of the diagonals so that it is wedged naturally in a channel, which prevents him from roll around its axis of revolution.

For this purpose, there is shown schematically in Figure 4 the range of possible diameters of parts that can be received on the carpet 1 by being effectively blocked by it, that is to say prevented from rolling on this carpet. This range extends from a small diameter identified by DI to a large diameter identified by D4. The small diameter DI is worth here an eighth of the step P separating two contiguous cells or convex parts parallel to an edge, while the large diameter D4 is worth more than twice this step P.

As symbolically represented in FIG. 5, a part of revolution comprising several regions having different diameters spontaneously positions itself in a channel of the carpet while tilting with respect to the horizontal. In the example of FIG. 5, the part 21 comprises a large diameter wheel 22 carried by one end of a transmission shaft 23. In the configuration of FIG. 5, this part 21 extends in a channel of the carpet , while having one of its ends wedged in a perpendicular channel, and its other end wedged in another perpendicular channel.

In general, the convex and concave portions of the carpet locally give it V-shaped profiles in which are housed cylindrical portions of the part of revolution, so as to be naturally wedged in the lateral direction. These V-shaped profiles also make it possible to wedge the ends of the part in its longitudinal direction. Each V-shaped profile extends between two contiguous convex portions, and each channel of the carpet corresponds to an alignment of V-profiles.

When several carpets are combined to form a carpet assembly such as the carpet assembly 6 of FIG. 1, the adjacent edges of two carpets are advantageously secured to one another by means of staples.

Such a clip shown schematically in Figure 6 where it is identified by 24 has two arms spaced from one another and joined by a base. It is placed on the underside of two adjacent belts 1 and 2 to overlap two concave half-portions in order to join them, each arm comprising at its end a stud engaging in a hole of a convex portion contiguous so as to be blocked in these holes.

The example of clip 26 of FIG. 7 comprises four tubular studs 27, 28, 29 and 31 arranged at the vertices of a square, to constitute a double clip allowing a firmer hold of two belts, and which can also be placed at the junction of four belts to join the four quarters of concave portions located at this junction.

As visible in FIG. 7, the pads 27 and 28 which are consecutive are joined by two arms 32 and 33 extending in two oblique directions to jointly form a pattern corresponding to the letter V, like the profile of the carpet in this zone. Likewise, the studs 28 and 29 are joined by two other arms 34 and 36, the studs 29 and 31 are joined by two other arms 37 and 38, and the studs 31 and 27 are joined by two other arms 39 and 41 Each tubular stud 27, 28, 29 and 31 protrudes from a base formed by the two ends of the arm which carries it and it is terminated at its free end by a shoulder, these shoulders being identified respectively by 42, 43, 44, 46 .

Each stud has a body having a diameter corresponding to that of the holes in the mat, while its base and its shoulder have a diameter substantially greater than that of the holes in the mat, so that the space between the base and the shoulder constitutes a groove, the bottom of which is delimited by the body of the stud. This shape allows the studs to be firmly fitted into the holes in the carpet so that the clip does not run the risk of becoming detached from this carpet.

To assemble the clip to the carpet, each of its studs is engaged in a corresponding hole which then stretches to allow the passage of the shoulder, then retracts after being crossed by it in order to block in the groove , which prevents disengagement of the stud.

In practice, the clip is positioned by the underside of the belts to be joined, until the tubular studs engage in the holes in the tops of the convex portions of these belts.

Furthermore, as can be seen in FIG. 8, the shape of the clip 26 is provided for nesting on another clip by stacking, so that the clips 26 are stackable so as to facilitate the handling and storage of the various components. of the carpet assembly 6.

Advantageously, the staple 26 is provided for breaking to be separated into two pieces so as to form two simple separate staples, that is to say each having two shouldered studs.

Advantageously also, external grooves are formed in the half-peaks and in the quarter-peaks of cones situated at the periphery of the mat, in order to accommodate there O-rings, making it possible to enclose half-peaks and quarter of contiguous peaks of each module in areas without staples.
