Abstract

The invention relates to a system for fastening a covering element (5) to a wall wall, comprising two supports fixed to the wall and an attachment device between the two supports and the covering element. The attachment device comprises at least one pair of axes (19, 20) coaxial with each other and two tabs (8, 9) hooking implemented respectively on the two axes. Each hooking lug comprises at least one groove (21, 22), one end of which opens on an edge of said lug (8, 9) to allow the insertion of the shaft (19, 20) and to seat it in the bottom of groove. Description

The present invention relates to the field of wall coverings which consist of covering a wall wall by means of covering elements of the panel or covering plate type, said covering elements being attached to said wall wall by means of fixing systems.

The invention relates particularly to the implementation of the system for fixing the covering elements to the wall. The invention will also relate to a wall covering implemented by means of such fixing systems and covering elements.

State of the art

Wall coverings play an essential role in the interior or exterior decoration of a home. These wallcoverings can also improve thermal and acoustic performance, both for interior and exterior walls.

Wallcoverings are well known to those skilled in the art. The implementations described in the titles US6874290B1, EP2309073A1, US5522193A, DE3604585A1 and DE3308118A1 provide fixing systems between the covering elements and the supports attached to the wall, comprising either an axis present on the support, on which comes engage and / or snap a grooved part present on the covering element or, conversely, an axis present on the covering element, which engages in a groove present on the support fixed to the wall wall.

Summary of the invention

The present invention aims to design a new variant of the fastening system which provides suitable anchoring, without play, of the covering element on the wall.

Another objective is to implement simple means allowing the covering element to be completely locked on the wall.

Another objective is to allow customization of the wall covering used.

The invention relates to a system for fixing a covering element to a wall. The fastening system comprises two supports configured to be fixed to the wall and a hanging device arranged between the two supports and the covering element. In addition, the attachment device comprises at least one pair of axes, the two axes of said pair being coaxial with each other, and two attachment tabs placed respectively on the two axes. Each hooking lug comprises at least one groove, one end of which opens onto an edge of said lug to allow insertion of the pin and to accommodate it at the bottom of the groove.

According to the invention, the fixing system comprises a locking device arranged between the two supports and the covering element to block the axes in the bottoms of the grooves. This optimizes the safety of the coating used, thus preventing any risk of the coating element being released in the event of a storm. This also prevents any individual, having no knowledge of the design of the fastening system according to the invention, from voluntarily removing a panel to degrade or steal it.

According to one embodiment, this locking device comprises on at least one of the two supports a movable abutment piece between a locking position and an unlocking position. In addition, each stop piece has at least one finger pressing against the covering element when the axes are in the bottoms of the grooves and the stop piece is in the locked position. Preferably, according to this embodiment, the locking device comprises blocking means ensuring the maintenance of the abutment in the locked position. This also prevents an individual, having perfect knowledge of the design of the fastening system according to the invention, from voluntarily removing a panel without being authorized to degrade or steal it. Preferably, according to this embodiment, the two supports each comprise a stop piece.

According to one embodiment of the fixing system, the hanging device comprises two pairs of axes. In addition, each hooking lug comprises two grooves arranged to each receive, respectively, an axis of the two pairs of axes. We could consider other variants with more than two pairs of axes and more than two grooves on each leg. One could also provide a variant with a single pair of axes and a single groove on each lug, in which case it will be necessary to provide means for blocking the pivoting of the lugs with respect to the respective axes of said pair of axes. .

According to one embodiment of the fixing system, the two supports each have one of the two axes of said at least one pair of axes and the covering element comprises the two hooking lugs. Preferably, the two legs are arranged at the lateral ends of the covering element, which will make it possible to use an identical support for the fixing of two legs adjoining two covering elements arranged one next to the other.

According to one embodiment of the fixing system, the two supports are vertical uprights, which will allow the implementation of several supports one above the other on the same vertical upright for the fixing of covering elements one above the other. above others.

Preferably, when the supports are of the vertical upright type, as mentioned above, each abutment piece consists of a bar mounted in slide connection along a vertical upright.

In one embodiment of the fastening system, the grooves are in a spiral. The spiral shape advantageously makes it possible to block the hooking lug properly with respect to the axis, which prevents any risk of disengagement of the axis from the latching lug. The term “spiral groove” means a groove with a spiral shape as such or with any equivalent shape comprising at least one proximal portion which extends into the material of the tab from the end which opens onto the edge, then a curved intermediate portion which extends the proximal portion by returning to the edge without leading to it and, finally, a distal portion which extends the intermediate portion and which extends more or less perpendicularly towards the proximal portion or which is also bent over the intermediate portion to move away from said edge again.

In an embodiment of the covering where the two supports each comprise one of the two axes of said at least one pair of axes and the covering element comprises the two hooking lugs, at least one covering element comprises a cover and means fixing the hubcap with the two hooking lugs. Preferably, the fixing means are configured to removably assemble the hubcap with the two legs. In the following description, the same references are used to designate the same characteristics or their equivalents in the figures, unless otherwise indicated.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, the covering 1 comprises three vertical uprights 2, 3, 4 of an identical design and covering elements 5. Two vertical uprights 2, 4 are arranged at the lateral ends 1a, 1b of the covering 1. The number of vertical uprights 3 disposed in an intermediate position between the two end uprights 2, 4 will vary according to the desired width of the covering 1 and the width of the covering elements 5. Similarly, the height of the vertical uprights 2, 3, 4 will depend of the desired height of the covering 1. Each upright 2, 3, 4 constitutes several supports which each participate in the fixing of a covering element 5.

It is the same between the two uprights 3, 4. As illustrated in Figures 4 and 5, the legs 8, 9 each include two grooves 21, 22. The grooves 21 on the upper side of the legs 8, 9 engage on the two axes 19 of the uprights 2, 3 and the grooves 22 on the lower side of the legs 8, 9 engage on the two axes 20 of said uprights 2, 3. All the grooves 21, 22 are of an identical design on the two legs 8, 9, this design appearing distinctly in FIG. 6. The grooves 21, 22 have a spiral shape with an end 23 which opens onto the edge rear 24 of the leg. A proximal portion 25 of the groove 21, 22 extends towards the inside of the tab 8, 9. An intermediate portion 26 extends this proximal portion 25 and is curved to return towards the rear edge 24. Then a distal portion 27 extends the intermediate portion 26 upward direction of the proximal portion 25, more or less perpendicularly according to the shape of the spiral. This distal portion 26 ends in a bottom 28 of the groove 21, 22. The axes 19, 20 abut against the bottoms 27 of the grooves 21, 22 once the legs 8, 9 are put in place on the uprights 2, 3 , 4, as shown in FIG. 3. Of course, it is possible to envisage slightly different spiral shapes for the grooves 21, 22, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10. Given the spiral shape of the groove 21, 22, it is almost impossible to disengage the legs 8, 9 from the uprights 2, 3, 4, unless there is manual action on the part of an operator.

In order to prevent this removal manually, unless authorized to do so, a locking bar 29 is arranged in each upright 2, 3, 4, preferably, as illustrated in FIG. 1. It would however be possible to provide such a bar locking 29 only every two uprights 2, 3, 4, in which case only one of the lateral ends 5a, 5b of the covering element 5 would be locked, which would still prevent the disassembly of the covering element 5 Preferably, all of the uprights 2, 3, 4 are fitted with such a locking bar 29, to prevent degradation of the covering elements 5 and of the uprights 2, 3, 4.

As illustrated with reference to FIGS. 1 to 8, the locking bar 29 comprises slots 30 in which the pins 19, 20 are housed, which ensures a mounting in sliding connection of the locking bar 29 on the upright 2, 3, 4. Preferably, the locking bar 29 is housed inside the upright 2, 3, 4. The locking bar 29 comprises fingers 31 and the tabs 8, 9 comprise notches 32. The fingers 31 are positioned in the notches 32 on the legs 8, 9. When the locking bar 29 is translated into the low position, the finger 31 comes to bear against the lower part 32a of the notch 32, as shown in Figure 3. This prevents any release of the axis 19, 20 housed in the bottom 28 of the groove 21, 22. When the locking bar 29 is slid downward towards the upright 2, 3, 4, with the fingers 31 resting in the notches 32, the orifice 33 on the locking bar 29 corresponds with the orifice 34 on the upright 2, 3, 4, which allows the insertion of a pin 35 or a padlock, preventing any possibility of moving the locking bar 29 with respect to the upright 2, 3, 4. The positioning of this pin 35 at the upper end 2a, 3a, 4a of uprights 2, 3, 4, makes it inaccessible; the legs 8, 9 are thus completely locked on the uprights 2, 3, 4 with the fingers 31 bearing against the notches 32. A second orifice 36 is provided below the orifice 33 on the locking bar 29; when the locking bar 29 is slid upwards with respect to the upright 2, 3, 4, this orifice 36 on the locking bar 29 corresponds with the orifice 34 on the upright 2, 3, 4, which allows the temporary positioning of the pin 35 between the two orifices 34, 36 in order to keep the locking bar 29 in the high position while the legs 8, 9 are mounted on the uprights 2, 3, 4.

Other variants are possible within the scope of the invention. One can for example provide a covering element 5 on which the legs 8, 9 and the hubcap 10 are formed in one and the same piece.

In the version of the covering element 5 described above, with the hubcap 10 attached to the legs 8, 9, said hubcap 10 can incorporate accessories. For example, if the covering 1 is arranged on an external wall, the hubcap 10 may incorporate a flower box or a hose holder, or may even consist of a photovoltaic panel. If the covering 1 is used in a garage, the hubcap 10 can incorporate a bicycle rack or tool hooks. If the coating 1 is used in a bathroom, the hubcap 10 can incorporate a towel rack, a clothes rack, a cup holder, a sink, or other accessories.
