Abstract

Un dispositif destiné à être implanté dans un corps humain ou animal, pour produire de l'hydrogène in situ à partir de molécules présentes dans le milieu corporel dans lequel le dispositif est implanté, ce dispositif comportant une anode (1) et une cathode (2), électriquement raccordées chacune à un pôle d'une source d'énergie électrique (7), et comportant un matériau semi-perméable (3) séparant les électrodes du milieu corporel, dispositif dans lequel, lorsque le raccordement à la source d'énergie électrique est effectif in situ, en présence de liquide corporel, un circuit électrique fermé est formé, avec production d'hydrogène à la cathode.
