Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé de réalisation de canal interfûts dans un carter-cylindres avec des fûts (20) adjacents séparés l'un de l'autre par une cloison interfûts (21), comprenant les étapes suivantes : - réalisation d'une saignée sur la face supérieure du carter-cylindres, s'étendant dans l'épaisseur d'au moins une cloison interfûts et transversalement à la direction d'alignement des fûts adjacents, puis - une opération de soudage par friction malaxage de manière à joindre les bords supérieurs de la saignée en un pontet (32), de manière à former un canal (30) dans la cloison interfûts. L'invention concerne également un carter-cylindres avec un canal interfûts obtenu selon ce procédé.
