Abstract

Joint d'étanchéité (10) pour réaliser l'étanchéité entre une première pièce de machine (12) et une seconde pièce de machine (16). La première pièce (12) a une gorge (14) avec une paroi latérale (14B). Le joint d'étanchéité (10) se compose d'une bague de compression (18) placée dans la gorge (14) et d'un élément de joint (20) également placé dans la gorge (14). L'élément de joint (20) est activé par la bague de compression (18) et sépare cette bague (18) de la paroi latérale (14B) de la gorge (14) et de la seconde pièce (16). L'élément de joint (20) a un fond (22) avec une arête de joint (26) entrant en contact avec la seconde pièce (16) ainsi qu'un dos (24) entrant en contact avec la paroi latérale (14B) de la gorge (14). Le fond (22) a une face auxiliaire de support (28) devant l'arête d'étanchéité.
