Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'édition d'un roman présentant deux versions (6,7) différentes chacune destinée à un lecteur particulier, sur un terminal d'édition de documents. Selon l'invention les deux versions du roman sont saisies dans un fichier unique d'un traitement de texte, géré par l'ordinateur et des balises (81A,...82C) de correspondance sont insérées dans ce fichier pour permettre le contrôle de la correspondance, du positionnement et du graphisme de chaque paragraphe lors de l'édition, lesdites balises (81A,...82C) de correspondance étant reconnues à cet effet par le terminal d'édition.The invention relates to a method for editing a novel with two different versions (6, 7) each intended for a particular reader, on a document editing terminal. Claims

1. Method for editing a novel composed of two different versions, each intended for a particular reader, on a document editing terminal (1) connected to a computer, the two versions (6,7) being subdivided into paragraph and presented in the edited document, each on respectively odd and even pages viewable simultaneously, characterized in that the two versions (6,7) of the novel are entered in a single file (14) of a word processor, managed by the computer and that correspondence tags (8ia, ... 82c) are inserted into this file (14) to allow control of the correspondence, positioning and graphics of each paragraph during editing, said tags (8ia, ... 82c) of correspondence being recognized for this purpose by the editing terminal.

2. Editing method according to claim 1, characterized in that the correspondence tags (8ia, ... 82c) include homologous tags generating line breaks at the end of the paragraph, in one of the even pages (9b ) or odd (9a) in number such that the first lines of each new paragraph are at corresponding levels on both pages.

3. Editing method according to one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that parity tags (10,, 10p) generate the inversion of the parity of the pages intended for one of the readers.

4. Editing method according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the method generates graphic signs (11,, 1 1p), one of which carried by each even (9b) or odd (9a) page indicates the reader for whom said page is intended.
