Abstract

Un pylône au-dessous de la nacelle supporte la nacelle et un moteur dans la nacelle au-dessus de l'aile, augmente l'efficacité aérodynamique, et peut comprendre un longeron latéral pour supporter le moteur depuis le côté. Un ensemble de joint ignifuge comprend une surface presse-joint et un joint ignifuge, et ce dernier n'est pas en contact avec le premier jusqu'à ce que la porte soit presque fermée, de sorte que la compression est sensiblement directe et que le frottement est réduit.
