Système de télécommunications comprenant : - au moins une station placée sur une plateforme à haute altitude stationnaire (SHA_1) pour établir au moins une liaison de communication bidirectionnelle directe (231) avec une autre plateforme à haute altitude (SHA_2), - au moins une station passerelle réseau (SP_1,SP_2) au sol, pour faire communiquer (201,203,202,204) un réseau cœur (RC) avec au moins une station placée sur une plateforme à haute altitude stationnaire (SHA_1,SHA_2), - une pluralité de stations placées dans des ballons dérivants (B_1,B_2,B_3,B_5,B_6) pour établir une liaison de communication bidirectionnelle directe (211,212,213,214) avec au moins une station placée sur une plateforme à haute altitude stationnaire (SHA_1,SHA_2) ou/et au moins une autre station placée dans un ballon dérivant et - une pluralité de terminaux utilisateurs (TU_1,TU_2,TU_3,TU_4,TU_5,TU_6,TU_7) pour établir une liaison de communication bidirectionnelle directe (221,222,223,224,225,226,227) avec une station placée sur une plateforme à haute altitude stationnaire ou/et au moins une station placée dans un ballon dérivant.
