Abstract

Dispositif de connexion entre les écrans de deux éléments de câble métalliques (10) adaptés pour transporter du courant électrique de haute tension et de forte intensité, chacun desdits éléments de câble étant entouré par une couche d'isolant (12) elle-même entourée par un écran (14) constitué d'une feuille d'aluminium couvert d'une couche de protection (16), l'écran, qui est connecté à la terre, étant utilisé pour détecter la dégradation de la couche d'isolant par mesure de la tension entre l'écran et la terre. Le dispositif est caractérisé en ce que l'écran du premier élément de câble est connecté à l'écran du second élément de câble par une connexion électrique reliant deux éléments de connexion, chacun des éléments de connexion comprenant une couche de mousse métallique (18) à cellules ouvertes placée au dessus de l'écran (14) et étant serrée contre l'écran par un moyen de serrage.
