Actionneur électromécanique (1) verrouillable comprenant : - une vis (15) s'étendant selon un axe longitudinal; - un écrou (19) engagé sur la vis (15) et pourvu de moyens de liaison (24) à un élément à déplacer (2), - un dispositif passif de verrouillage (40) en position rétractée de l'élément à déplacer (2) ; le dispositif passif de verrouillage (40) comprenant des moyens d'actionnement d'un verrou pouvant sélectivement adopter une première position dans laquelle le verrou empêche une rotation relative de la vis et de l'écrou qui amènerait à un déploiement de l'élément à déplacer et une deuxième position dans laquelle la rotation de l'écrou est libre, le verrou passant d'une des première et deuxième positions à l'autre des première et deuxième positions lorsque l'élément à déplacer (2) est amené au-delà de sa position rétractée.
