Abstract

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a packaging for transporting food products, and more specifically prepared products, such as cakes or sweets.

A preferred application relates to the food packaging industry, and in particular, the packaging industry for pastries and other prepared products.

TECHNOLOGICAL BACKGROUND

The packaging of prepared food products such as pastries, sweets or pizzas are conventionally produced in cardboard boxes. These prepared products being ready to be consumed, their packaging is generally not reusable. In addition, the cost of this type of packaging must remain very low.

For these various reasons, the packaging of these products is generally a simple cardboard box defining an interior volume in which the product rests.

As part of the pastry transport, a support is generally added between said pastry and the packaging. This support is preferably made of cardboard treated to be for food use. This support can also be carried out simply by a sheet of food paper (this is particularly true in the context of sweets). Such supports allow on the one hand to limit the contact of the food product with the packaging, on the other hand to remove the food product from the packaging without damaging it.

These packages are very popular, especially because of their very low cost. However, the stability of food products inside this type of packaging is not satisfactory. Indeed, food products are mobile relative to both their support and the packaging. In addition, the support itself is movable relative to the packaging. As a result, the transport must imperatively be carried out horizontally, otherwise the food products move and risk being damaged. This is particularly true when transporting relatively fragile pastries.

To try to limit this transport problem, cardboard boxes have been developed comprising compartments. Each compartment being intended to form a housing for a single food product. This solution makes it possible to limit the movement of each food product. However, this solution cannot be generalized to food products of a size comparable to that of the cardboard box. In addition, this solution does not effectively protect food products from moving inside a compartment. A space is effectively necessary between the walls of the compartment and the food product in order to remove the food product from the compartment. This space, although limited, allows food products to move inside the compartment and generates a risk of damaging said food products.

It is therefore necessary to provide packaging which makes it possible to better protect a food product during its transport, while retaining a reduced manufacturing cost.

The invention makes it possible to solve all or part of the drawbacks of current packaging.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A first aspect of the invention relates to a container for a food product.

Advantageously, this container for food product comprising a bottom intended to support a content taken from at least one food product or a support for food product, characterized in that it comprises at least a first friction element disposed on at least one portion of the bottom of the container intended to be in contact with the content, said first friction element being configured so as to limit or even prevent by friction the sliding of the content, that is to say at least one food product or support, on the bottom of the container.

According to another embodiment, the invention relates to a container comprising at least a first friction element disposed, preferably glued, on at least a portion of a bottom of the container.

The friction element allows you to locally modify the friction coefficient at the bottom of the container. The difference in friction coefficients thus generated makes it possible to limit, or even prevent, the movement of the food product in the container. Thus, the risk of damage to the food product during transport in the container is reduced. Transporting the food product in the container requires less care.

Another aspect of the invention relates to a support for a food product.

Advantageously, this support comprises at least one of a second and a third friction elements arranged, respectively on at least a portion of one of a first and a second face of the support.

This particular arrangement makes it possible to create:

- a coefficient of friction determined between the bottom of the container and the support to limit the movement of the support in the container, or

- a coefficient of friction determined between the support and the food product intended to rest on the support, to limit the displacement of the food product with respect to the support, or

- both of them.

Another aspect of the invention relates to packaging for a food product. Advantageously, the packaging comprises a container for food product as defined above and / or a support for food product as defined above.

Such packaging makes it possible in particular to combine, in a synergistic manner, the advantages of the container and of the support according to the first and second aspects of the invention. Thus, packaging according to the third aspect of the invention allows secure and easy transport of food product. In addition, such packaging can be produced quickly and economically.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Before describing in detail different embodiments of the invention, in particular with reference to the accompanying drawings, other optional features of the invention, which can be implemented in combination or as an alternative, are indicated below:

The present invention facilitates the transport of at least one food product 300. Advantageously, the food product 300 is a food product 300 prepared such as for example a cake, a pie, a pizza or even sweets. According to a first aspect, the invention relates to a container 100 notably visible in FIGS. 1 to 4 and in FIG. 8.

The container 100 includes a bottom 111 and side walls defining an interior volume 110. In one embodiment, the container 100 may optionally include a cover 120 configured to come close the interior volume 110 when folded in facing the bottom 111. The cover 120 is then positioned on the side walls. The container 100 is configured to receive and support a content in its internal volume 110. Preferably, the content is taken from one of at least food product 300 and a support 200.

Preferably, the container 100 is based on cardboard (cardboard, card stock, etc.) and can constitute a cardboard box. Of course, the container 100 can be based on another material.

Preferably it is rigid enough to support its own weight without deforming. Preferably it is rigid enough to support its own weight and the weight of a food product which it contains, this without deforming, especially when it is supported by two hands placed at two of these opposite ends.

The container 100 is formed from a manually foldable material. Advantageously, the container 100 is foldable manually so that it is mainly included in a single plane. That is to say to reduce its internal volume relative to its unfolded shape and preferably to reduce its internal volume as much as possible.

Of course, the container 100 is also foldable in order to form an interior volume.

Advantageously, the bottom 111 of the container 100 comprises a first friction element 410.

According to one embodiment of the invention, the first friction element 410 is made of fabric, and preferably of food fabric. According to another embodiment of the invention, the first friction element 410 is made of polyurethane.

In one embodiment of the invention, the food product 300 is in direct contact with the first friction element 410. This direct contact is preferably made by a superposition of the first friction element 410 and the food product 300. In a mode of non-preferred embodiment, the contact is made laterally between an edge of the first friction element 410 and an edge of the food product 300.

The contact between the food product 300 and the first friction element 410 makes it possible to limit the lateral displacement or in other words in sliding of said food product 300 in the container 100 during its transport. Thus, the food product 300 can be transported without risk of being damaged.

Preferably, the first friction element 410 can be of any shape. It preferably has a shape chosen from a rectilinear shape, a circular shape, a rectangular shape and a grid. For example, food products 300 can be positioned between the meshes of the grid. Several first friction elements 410 can be configured to take one of these forms.

Advantageously, when the food product 300 is a mignardise, the preferred form of the first friction element 410 comprises at least one strip of fabric. Thus, as can be seen in FIG. 4, it is possible to arrange several sweets on each strip of fabric.

Preferably, the first friction element 410 is bonded to the bottom 111. Advantageously, the adhesive used is a food adhesive.

The container 100 can be folded, in particular to be stored taking up a minimum of space, and be unfolded before use, in particular to form the interior volume 110.

According to a second aspect, the invention relates to a support 200 for at least one food product 300. The support 200 is in particular visible in FIGS. 5 to 7 and in FIG. 8.

Preferably, the support 200 comprises a first face 210, a second face 220 and an edge 230. Advantageously, the second face 220 is intended to be in contact with the food product 300. The support 200 is preferably sufficiently rigid to allow the transport of a food product 300 placed on it while holding the support below. The support 200 therefore makes it possible to facilitate the transport of said food product 300.

The support 200 can be made of cardboard with preferably a food-grade coating. Advantageously, the support 200 is based on golden cardboard. Advantageously, the support is made of rigid cardboard. By rigid is meant that the support can support its own weight, and preferably its own weight and the weight of at least one food product 300. Other support materials 200 are of course envisaged, for example food paper. In one embodiment, the second face 220 is made of a material different from the first face 210. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the support 200 is of the general shape of the food product 300 to be transported. Circular, rectangular or any other shape is envisaged. Its dimensions may be greater than the dimensions of the food product 300 to be transported.

The support 200 preferably comprises at least one second friction element 420 arranged on the first face 210 of the support. The first face 210 of the support 200 is intended to be in contact with any type of surface other than the food product 300 such as, for example, a table, hands, a cardboard box, a tray.

Advantageously, the second friction element 420 is made of food fabric and / or polyurethane.

Preferably, the second friction element 420 is held on the support 200 either by gluing, or by pressing, or by a combination of these two holding means. Advantageously, the glue used is a food glue.

The second friction element 420 makes it possible to increase the coefficient of friction between the support 200 and any surface with which it is intended to be in contact. This increase in the coefficient of friction makes it possible to limit the sliding movement or in other words lateral movement of the support 200 vis-à-vis any surface on which it is arranged.

In a preferred embodiment, the support 200 comprises on its second face 220, a third friction element 430. Said third friction element 430 is intended to be in contact with the food product 300. This contact is preferably made by a superimposition of said third friction element 430 and the food product 300. In another embodiment, the contact is made laterally between an edge of the third friction element 430 and an edge of the food product 300.

Advantageously, the third friction element 430 makes it possible to increase the coefficient of friction between the support 200 and the food product 300. Thus, the lateral displacement or in other words in sliding of the food product 300 relative to the support 200 is limited, which allows easier and more secure transport of the food product 300. The third friction element 430 is preferably made of food fabric. Maintaining said third friction element 430 on the support 200 is achieved by bonding and / or pressing. When glue is used, food glue is preferably used.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, the second friction element 420 and the third friction element 430 are linked together so as to form a single element. Advantageously, this element is disposed on at least a portion of the first and second faces 210 and 220 of the support 200 by bypassing the edge 230 of the support 200. The friction element then comprises a first part, corresponding to the second friction element 420, in contact with the first face 210 and a second part, corresponding to the third friction element 430, in contact with the second face 220. In the preferred embodiment, the first and the second part of the friction element are based polyurethane or food fabric. In another embodiment, the first part of the friction element is based on polyurethane and the second part is made of fabric and preferably of food fabric. This advantageous configuration is in particular shown in FIG. 5. In this embodiment, the maintenance of the friction element on the support 200 is preferably carried out by pressing. Thus, the friction element is laminated with the support 200. In this embodiment, a connection portion 440 between the second and third friction elements 420 and 430 protrudes from the support 200. The connection portion 440 thus disposed makes it possible to facilitate the gripping a portion of food product 300 when using a gripping tool such as a pie server.

Preferably, but not limited to the second and third friction elements 420 and 430 do not entirely cover the first and second faces 210 and 220. Advantageously, the second and third friction elements 420 and 430 cover less than 20% of the first and second friction faces 210 and 220.

Preferably, the second and third friction elements 420 and 430 have a shape identical to the shape of the support 200. In addition, the second and third friction elements 420 and 430 are preferably arranged on the periphery of the first and second faces 210 and 220.

According to an alternative or complementary embodiment, one of the first friction element 410 and the second friction element 420 has a shape and dimensions substantially complementary to the shape and dimensions of the other among the first friction element 410 and the second friction element 420. For example, the first friction element has the shape of a disk of radius R1 and the second friction element has the shape of a ring with an internal diameter R2 slightly greater than R1. The presence of the third friction element 430 makes it possible, as described above, to limit the lateral displacement or in other words sliding, of the food product 300 with respect to the support 200.

Thus, by synergistically combining the advantages of the container according to the first aspect of the invention and the support according to the second aspect of the invention, the packaging 1 according to the third aspect of the invention makes it possible to optimize the maintenance of the food product 300 in packaging 1. In addition, this maintenance is carried out while allowing easy removal of the support 200 from the container 100. Thus, only sliding, or lateral movements are limited by the present invention. The distance of the support 200 from the container 100 is not limited. Therefore, the risks of damaging the food product 300 when it leaves the container 100 are limited. It will also be noted that the invention makes it possible to maintain the food product 300 while fully retaining its integrity.

The invention can be adapted to different types of packaging 1. It is inexpensive in terms of materials and manufacturing.
