Abstract

Technical area

The present invention relates generally to the field of wall or floor coverings inside any room of a (local) building.

It relates in particular to the production of such coatings, at least part of which defines a decorative pattern by means of integrated lighting.

The invention relates to the production of decorative pavers for a set of wall or floor coverings, with at least one part defining a decorative pattern with integrated lighting.

The invention aims more particularly to provide such pavers which allow a laying of a wall or floor covering which is rapid and at low cost of installation labor.

State of the art

Until now, when you want to make a floor covering with a decorative pattern made apparent by lighting, it is necessary to make specific arrangements in floor tiles in order to integrate the luminaires.

These tailor-made arrangements have several drawbacks.

First of all, the installation of luminaires in a floor is a delicate, long and expensive process, in particular because it is necessary to involve at least two different trades, namely an electrician and a craftsman to installation (carpenter, tiler).

For the electrical supply of the luminaires, it is necessary to install sheaths which are used for the passage of the power cables.

The assembly of different finishing materials for the exposed part of the floor or wall also requires the use of different trades.

In addition, if the layout requires the production of complex shapes for the coating, this requires the use of highly qualified, very expensive and / or very rare craftsmen.

Thus, all state-of-the-art solutions for wall cladding or integrating lighting significantly increase the time, cost and complexity of fitting out a room in a building.

There is therefore a general need to improve the production of wall or floor coverings, in particular in order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks.

The object of the invention is to meet this need at least partially.

Statement of the invention

To do this, the subject of the invention is, according to a first alternative, a decorative paver for a set of wall covering or floor covering, comprising:

- a fiberboard;

- At least one profile fixed to an edge of the fiberboard, the profile comprising a support part and a latching part of the male or female type adapted to cooperate by latching with a complementary latching part of the female or male type respectively a complementary profile fixed to an edge of a fiberboard of another decorative paving stone;

- A plate, called a diffusing plate, made of a light diffusing material, the diffusing plate being fixed with one of its main faces covering one of the main faces of the fiberboard;

- At least one flexible strip on which are fixed a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), the flexible strip being adapted to be supported by the support part (30) of the profile by coming to bear against an edge of the diffusing plate of so that when the diodes are on, their light illuminates the interior of the diffusing plate;

a plate, called a decorative plate, one of the main faces of which is intended to be visible, defines a decorative aspect and which is pierced by one or more through openings through which (which) can pass the light diffused by the diffusing plate defining thus one or more illuminated decorative patterns, the decorative plate being fixed to the diffusing plate with the other of its main faces covering the other of the main faces of the diffusing plate.

According to an advantageous variant, the diffusing plate is made of polycarbonate or polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), if necessary textured at least in part on its main face covered by the decorative plate.

Each through opening can be filled with an element made of transparent material, such as white polycarbonate or PMMA, diffusing the light.

This makes it possible to have an apparent face which is flat over the entire surface of the decorative paver and also to protect the diffusing plate below.

The invention also relates to a second alternative, a decorative paver for a set of wall covering or floor covering, comprising:

- a fiberboard;

- At least one profile fixed to an edge of the fiberboard, the profile comprising a latching part of the male or female type adapted to cooperate by latching with a complementary latching part of the female or male type respectively of a complementary profile attached to an edge of a fiberboard of another decorative paving stone;

a plate, known as a decorative plate, one of its main faces of which is intended to be visible, defines a decorative aspect, the decorative plate being fixed to the fiberboard with the other of its main faces covering one of the main faces of said panel fibers.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the profile further comprises a support part adapted to support one or more electrical supply cables, in particular cables intended to supply flexible strips on which are fixed a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs). It is thus possible to produce a profile intended for both a decorative LED paver according to the first alternative and a decorative paver according to the second alternative. So when these two types of pavers are snapped together, the LED power cables can be easily accommodated in the space between the fiberboard.

When it is desired to carry out the labeling of a block with several adjacent blocks, at least one profile is fixed to each edge of the fiberboard. Provision can be made for having a profile whose length is substantially equal to that of the edge of the fiberboard to which it is fixed. Provision may also be made to distribute at least two, discretely or discontinuously, several sections along one edge of the fiberboard, the length of each section corresponding only to part of the length of the edge.

Each profile is preferably made of plastic and obtained by extrusion. We choose a plastic material that allows us to have any straight or curved shape that we want to give to the profile and therefore to the decorative paver.

According to an advantageous embodiment, each profile comprises a fixing part adapted to fit into a groove made on the edge of the fiberboard. This fixing part can then be glued and / or be fitted with a tight fit into the groove of the fiberboard. Grooving a fiberboard is an easy operation to perform, the groove obtained making it possible to obtain a simple and effective fixing of the profile, the fixing part of which fits and is glued and / or fixed by a tight fit. .

The decorative plate can be made of a material chosen from a laminate of wood with a decorative appearance, brushed aluminum, steel, golden brass, a plate of tempered glass and printed on its internal face, ie that which is not visible, or constituted by a display screen, of the light-emitting diode (LED) or organic light-emitting diode type (English acronym OLED for “Organic Light-Emitting Diode”),

The plate which is the decorative plate or the diffusing plate, which covers the fiberboard can be glued to the latter by means of glue pads. It is thus possible to achieve a stratification of a decorative paver according to the invention, which is rapid and effective.

The fiberboard is advantageously a high density wood fiberboard.

According to an advantageous embodiment, a decorative paver may include one or more adjustable shims, fixed on the main face of the fiberboard, intended to be facing a floor or a wall, each adjustable shim being adapted to raise the paver and arrange it horizontally or vertically, regardless of the differences in floor or wall level.

Each wedge can advantageously be made up of two parts, one of which is fixed to the fiberboard, the male part having a threaded external peripheral part adapted to cooperate by screwing with an internal periphery part of the female part so as to adjust the elevation distance. in relation to the floor or the wall.

According to another of its aspects, the invention also relates to an assembly for wall covering or for floor covering (R) comprising:

- at least one decorative strip with integrated LED strip and diffusing plate, as described above;

- at least one decorative paver not provided with LEDs and diffusing plate, as described above, the decorative pavers being fixed to each other by the snap-fitting of the snap-on parts complementary to their profiles, their decorative plates defining the apparent surface of the covering wall or floor covering.

The labeling between decorative pavers is advantageously carried out so that two adjacent pavers are joined by their opposite edges on which the complementary profiles are fixed. This eliminates the need to make long and complex seals to be made as in a configuration according to the state of the art, between lighting panels.

However, alternatively, in particular if it is desired to give an additional decorative appearance, the snap-fastening between decorative paving stones can be carried out so that two adjacent paving stones leave a clear space between their facing edges on which the complementary profiles are fixed, the the open space being able to be filled by a seal.

Depending on the general decorative aspect which it is desired to give to the covering, the decorative pavers according to the invention may be of general rectangular shape or with at least one curved profile. Pavers can easily be made with curved profiles, because the clipping profiles with curves can be easily obtained and the cutting of fiberboard, diffusing plate and decorative plate easily carried out according to the curved profile that is desired.

The invention finally relates to a process for producing a wall or floor covering of a building room, comprising the following steps:

a / rib measurement of a part surface;

b / production of decorative pavers as described above, according to the dimensions of step a /;

c / numbering of the pavers, so as to establish an order of laying the pavers on the surface;

d / assembling between them pavers laid in the established order, by snap-fastening of the profiles fixed to the edges of the fiber panels.

Preferably, before covering the surface of the ground or wall by assembling the decorative pavers according to the invention, said surface can be covered with a usual sound insulator.

When you want to make a wall covering, you can fix each decorative paver to the wall by screwing at least one profile of each paver directly onto the wall. To do this, each profile to be screwed can include one or more bores along its length allowing a fixing screw to pass through the wall which comes to tighten the decorative block against the wall.

Instead of defining complex lighting panels which are costly to make and also specific to each site, the inventors have defined decorative pavers preassembled by lamination from a fiberboard, which can be easily and very quickly assembled by snap-fastening on a floor or a wall, in order to form a decorative covering of which at least part of the surface is lit. The wiring of the power supply is easily carried out by housing between the support part of the profiles and the decorative and / or diffusing plate.

According to an advantageous embodiment, between step c / and step d /, a step cl / is carried out for adjusting each shim below each decorative block, so as to compensate for the differences in level of the wall or of the soil to be coated.

The invention which has just been described has many advantages, among which we can cite:

- very rapid production of a wall or floor covering with at least part of the lighting surface to define a decorative appearance;

- easy realization of the coating by delivery on site of decorative paving stones to be assembled by snap-fitting without the need to have a cement / mortar to prepare and install, bonding, sealing, and therefore to have qualified labor with tools specific such as saws, grinders or others;

- easy and quick replacement of a floor or wall covering depending on the decor you want to display;

- less dependence of the site on the availability of specialized trades;

- possibility of using a greater variety of decoration with lighting, the different parts of which can be easy to coordinate by wireless communication, such as with a smartphone;

- possibility of adjusting the elevation paver by paver easily and quickly by means of screw-in shims, in order to compensate for any differences in the flatness of the floor to be coated and thus to obtain a perfectly horizontal floor covering.

Many applications can be envisaged for the invention.

It is thus possible to produce decorative coatings with inlaying display screens of the LED or OLED type, on the floor or the wall of a room in a room.

The LEDs integrated in the decorative pavers according to the invention can be adapted to light therapy.

The integrated LEDs can be used to create a visual display of automatic messages such as alerts, security, etc.

The lighting provided by the LEDs integrated in the pavers according to the invention can be controlled automatically by any connected object to provide a luminous atmosphere in real time, such as for example a control of one or more zones of a piece in a distinct way, according to ambient music.

A decorative paver of the lighting type 1 or not 1 ’comprises first of all a fiber panel 2, as a structural element.

A profile 3 is fixed to an edge of the fiber panel 2, preferably a high density wood fiber panel.

Each profile comprises a support part 30, a latching part 31 of the male 3 lm or female 3 lf type and a fixing part 32 to the fiber panel 2.
