Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de gestion de cartes graphiques (GC) dans un système informatique (2) comprenant : au moment de la mise en marche d'une machine virtuelle (3) dans le système informatique (2), l'attribution d'au moins une carte graphique virtuelle (VGC) et d'une carte graphique physique (GC) à la machine virtuelle (3) afin de procéder au traitement des instructions graphiques ; la déconnexion de la carte graphique physique (GC) de la machine virtuelle (3) afin de la libérer au profit d'un pool de cartes graphiques (51) disponibles ; la détection du besoin de la machine virtuelle (3) de traiter des instructions graphiques avancées et, au moment de la détection, la sélection d'une carte graphique (GC) disponible dans le pool (51) d'unités de traitement graphiques disponibles ; la connexion de la carte graphique (GC) disponible à la machine virtuelle (3) afin de procéder au traitement des instructions graphiques avancées.
