Abstract

Device for isolation and reduction of hypothermia in the field, allowing the safety of several people at the same time. Following the deaths in a state of hypothermia, linked to the lack of means of rescue in the high mountains, this device was designed. The present invention is composed of a green insulated tent with an orange cross in order to be easily visible in the mountains. (1) (2) (4). A heating blanket is included in the floor of the tent (5). It consists of an insulating material, a heating system and a cover. (6) (7) (8). The heating system is powered by a Lithium-ion battery. A thermal regulator and a screen for transmitting the thermal and cardiac data of the individual are placed on the battery (9) (10) (11). The device is designed to be handled by people subjected to extreme cold, thus comprising quick openings and large handles (3). The device according to the invention is particularly intended for emergency services (firefighters, paramedics), for the bodies concerned of the Alpine Army, and for all persons practicing mountaineering.
