Abstract
Volant d'inertie comportant un corps (3) massique en un matériau principal, tel que du béton, ledit corps étant enveloppé sur au moins une partie de sa surface externe d'une couche ou enveloppe de fibres de renforcement (5) dont la tension d'enroulement autour du corps engendre une mise en compression du matériau constitutif principal, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une couche intermédiaire (4) entre la couche de fibres (5) et le corps (3) en béton, constituée d'un matériau susceptible d'être injecté et apte à durcir, et en ce que ladite couche de fibres (5) est étanche audit matériau de la couche intermédiaire. Le matériau de la couche intermédiaire est du type mortier et présente, avant solidification, une viscosité le rendant apte à être pompé et injecté sous pression.
