L'invention porte principalement sur un ensemble pour turbocompresseur (11) comportant: - un bloc compresseur (12), - un bloc turbine (13), - un palier central (15) intercalé entre ledit bloc compresseur (12) et ledit bloc turbine (13), ledit palier central (15) entourant un arbre de liaison entre ledit bloc compresseur (12) et ledit bloc turbine (13), et - un dispositif de protection thermique (16), caractérisé en ce que ledit dispositif de protection thermique (16) comporte une lame (17) positionnée axialement entre ledit bloc turbine (13) et ledit palier central (15), ladite lame (17) étant une pièce rapportée fixée sur ledit palier central (15).
